  1. Hear ye, oh, hear ye!! Final release of tickets for this prestigious and enthralling sycophantic and fawning event! Get yer hard-earned out!
  2. Starring Roland Rivron as Tony Goggle.
  3. And why is it tour sparkies and lampies always seem to get the wardrobe dame, or one of the catering dames??
  4. Surprised he didn't catch on with the rotisseries, too. You guys ought to write a book!
  5. I let two early '90s Thumbs go, one an unlined fretless. What a mug. 😟 Nice bass!
  6. I have that beast. Fretless is tuned DAD (flatwound) and the fretted DADG.
  7. Sunstroke? Had it, and not nice feeling at all.
  8. Agreed. I played in a band, on and off, back in the early '80s and occasionally we did, at the behest of singer/guitarist number one, a couple of Dylan numbers. Suddenly, from his normal, soprano voice would come this nasal, caterwauling whine. Jeez, it was excruciating! A few years later, I saw him doing a solo spot and he'd dropped his range and sounded enjoyable to listen to. My Dylan torture song is Rainy Day Women 12 and 35
  9. Agreed. For various reasons.
  10. Condolences to his family. 😥
  11. We'd all like to know! 😉
  12. Neck looks ok to me for P2e. And, yeh, body would be ash.
  13. Phil Collins as Genesis' front man.
  14. Sam li.......wasn't this the fella who had the task of removing the wallpaper from Chris Squire's RM1999?
  15. Some much wrong, here. Wrong tuner keys, bushings missing, that awful rout, the awful replacement nut, and the incorrect replacement TRC. No 'under the hood' or output sockets pix. Would put £20 on a P-bass route being up at the neck pup area, too. 1970 4001
  16. Agreed and I saw examples of that, but also some that didn't pan out as expect for the claimant. If you've got the time, check this out:- QOCS Cases Additionally, there may be unique aspects in the Scottish legislation as the law up here differs occasionally from that of England and Wales.
  17. Hhmmm...QOCS only went onto the statute books up here in Scotland last year but further amendments to the legislation are expected. On teh face of it, it appears to attempt to make the costs system fair for both parties but some of the examples I've read this morning suggest otherwise, given the rulings by some judges.
  18. I have never heard of this QOCS but will certainly be looking into it further. As a freelance tech (touring and events) I have to have PLI and no production company will hire without proof of such. Some stipulate a minimum amount of cover, e.g., £2M or £5M, depending on areas working in and disciplines covered. And you don't have to be the cause of an accident to accused of it: if you're anywhere near it, or in that discipline, you'll be carpeted and face proceedings until proven innocent or otherwise.
  19. Doubt there'll be a sound guy. Probably a fixed frequency hand-held radio mic into house PA with ceiling Bose speakers. I can feel the ennui settling on me already. And I've no intention of attending this circus!
  20. I wouldn't call it advertising, though I see that some might see it that way. There was a previous posting about it and since this is about a meet & greet I don't see why not?
  21. ...to fawn over Santa Ana's dark magus. Oh, to be a fly on the wall on that evening! I'd love to know the numbers.....
  22. With a name like Whisky MacMillan, I am sure the bank bots would flag that up as a dubious name....😃 Or, maybe not!
