  1. Whatever the body is, I am pretty sure that neck is an Indonesian Squier neck.
  2. Holy Molé, how do you play that thing? It looks like that massive Shack bass that was floating around the internet a few years ago. Frivolity aside, it looks amazing. Enjoy!
  3. It's his nut-work. The E is off the 'board up the dusty end.
  4. You paid £300 for that Conklin??
  5. He has some varied stuff for sale......
  6. I blame Doug Wimbish for the initial flurry of buying these things back in the late '80s. He was a poster-boy for Trace back then and I recall a photo of a AH500, 4x10, 1x15 rig with the Brite Box. Remember some guys in a music shop saying if you had a 4x10 the BB was redundant.
  7. Please tell me that wasn't your stage EQ curve? 😉
  8. Someone's having a laff, surely!
  9. What about the attention, the exposure? I'd wager she'd want some of that. Doubt it's about money.
  10. Wonder why 'Posh' didn't want to do the tour?
  11. Peli case would have been even better!
  12. That nose and the bones, though. And that perpetual scowl. Naah. But each to their own.
  13. I was recently mistaken for bake-boy Paul Hollywood. In my be-mulleted years, Paul Young. And before that, in my shaggy-perm heavy metal days, Jim Morrison, even though he had been off this mortal coil for over a decade. Never been complemented, years later, about my bass or guitar playing....😧
  14. My favs are the Chickenbacker basses with the elongated heel, the incorrectly placed pups and what looks like 6cm-thick bodies.
  15. I heard that 'Zigazig-ah' was a euphemism for coitus. Fair enough, but I could never coit with Posh. Or Ginge. Or any of them.
  16. Wonder how much they got bunged by the Spicey mgmt to say that, given that they're on tour at the moment?
  17. Wouldn't that cause a right brou-ha-ha? The buyer would be right on to ebay.
  18. I bought their version of the Maton Wedgtail at a pre-order price of US$1000. The neck was very slim, not what I expected, and the Bigsby was mounted squint. Plus, it went horrendously out of tune when the Bigsby was dumped. Probably strings catching in the nut but I sent it right back. I'd still give them another chance, though.
  19. Wonder whose Fairlight JJ used? The studios? I know the Art of Noise used one extensively.
  20. Didn't know JJ had anything to do with that recording session? Am interested. Care to expand?
