What doesn't make sense is you longer have them?
I know The last one i had i sold around 5 years ago but they didn't command such a high price back then, i want another one so badly but finances just wont allow, Selling my wals is my biggest regret.
 2.
OK... but which tone?
I've had four wals in the past, two custroms & two pro1's fretted & fretless, & it seemed to me that whatever you do with the pickup pan & tone filters you still get that wal honky bark (it's hard describing sound) with a different flavour on top as you tweak the controls but it's alway's there, i love that sound & i can get close to it with my warwick nt6 fretless biased towards the bridge pickup, bass boost flat & treble boost almost off, but it still hasn't got that wal vibe, Does that make any sense?
 3.
I remember reading that Gus review way back. I respect Simon Farmer, there is some truely innovative stuff going on there. Just a thought, what are the features that make a Wal what it is? The one thing that stands out for me is the circuit...? Anything else that anybody reckons is so Wal only Wal has it covered?
The Tone, Try and get that wal sound from any other bass.
 4.
ive got an ashdown little giant head and ashdown 2x10 cab and a few pedals...? What dya reckon?
I dont really need another amp, but that little giant head might be handy as a backup?

 9.
Jeez Al, you've got a shop's worth of gear haven't you. Les
Yeah but i'm broke now so i need to sell some of it on
 10. I bought this from goingdownslow on this forum but sadly i cant afford to keep it, it's in superb condition, i paid £450 for it so i would like to get that back or close to it. This is now sold
 11. Wals have thier own sound that no other bass can produce, i've heard close but not the same, as for a starting price of £3200 it does seem a little steep but check the price of an alembic or a ken smith. There is something missing from the new wals though, the new necks are constructed using maple & mahogany, the original wals used hornbeam in the centre of thier necks. I would be interested to know if that affects the tone ??
 12. I havn't changed it since ck had it, so it still has the original spector tonepump in it.
 13.
Cheers! Looks a little big for me, I think. Good luck with the sale. Just reread my post and I didn't mean to be so grumpy!
No worries So you wouldn't fancy a trade with your corvette 6 then
 14.
I don't understand how you expect to make a sale without indicating a price? I presume you have a price, but the potential buyer has to go the effort of PMing you? Sort of puts me off a bit! Nice bass though.
Sorry Dude, I'm looking for £850 + £25 postage in the uk
