Does anyone own or have in the past played a six string wal? The reason i ask is, i have just played a wal custom 4 string that my dad owns & i cannot believe the sound i got from it, the problem is i play a six string (warwick thumb) all the time so it would be a six that i would have to find

I know this aint a bass but i thought i'd give it a shot, I have an ernie ball musicman john petrucci 7 string guitar in pearl redburst with matching headstock & piezo's, it has a lovely birds eye maple neck & rosewood fingerboard. this guitar has the lowest action that i've seen & play's beutifully, i was going to list it on ebay but i'm after another bass, i'm interested in another warwick thumb but a 5 string this time bolt on or thru neck, so if anyone is up for a trade let me know i'll put pictures up tomorrow if there's any interest.
Bit more Green stuff, well quite a bit actually. When there's enough room on stage the Rick gets to go through both the V8 and the Twin Valve rigs. Ah150 GP7 was bought new by me in 82 and has never let me down and really is just an amazing amp. 410 is actually a Hartley Thompson design prototype with Trace speakers.
WOW A slot head eb3!! I love those basses, i tried to buy one recently from a guy in the states but he would,t ship it over here Nice gear too, i've just gone back to using trace gear after trying loads of other stuff, you can't beat it.

Thats a georgeous bass you got there Josh, I hope you get what you want for it, was just wondering why you would want a thumb from 99 onwards & not 89? Al
Ah well can't blame you Allan, but I'll just say if your hoping for it to growl as well as your Thumb then don't get to excited, hence why I sold mine on. Regardless, to everyone, Allan is a pleasure to deal with so please buy with confidence!
Thanks for the kind words Josh as for my thumb i dont think anything can growl like that, so i think the streamer would be a good contrast ??
Streamer or an earlier Thumb?
It'll be a 5 string streamer stage1 this time, actually the guy that's selling it has just put it up on this forum for sale, so if it sells before i have sold my amp i'll probably keep the head as well, it's a great sounding rig, that cab i got from you is awsome!!!
