Fender Flea Jazz Bass Shell Pink Road Worn - *SOLD*

I bought this from The Bass Gallery a few years ago and they did a full fret stone in the shop so the frets are absolutely perfect and it can take a great low action. They also removed the lacquer on the neck and replaced it with gunstock oil just like on a stingray neck so it is super smooth and has a satin finish so it’s not sticky. This is one of the good ones that doesn't have a twisted neck or maxed out truss rod which has been an issue with many others. The bass also has had copper shielding added to the cavity (see pic) so in essence the bass is better than it came from the factory and plays and sounds superb. Here is a link to the original advert https://thebassgallery.com/products/fender-flea-jazz-bass The bass is all original including the American-made Pure Vintage ’64 Jazz Bass single-coil pickups, a near mint generic tweed hard case is included and it has just been set up with a brand new set of Elixirs. Weight is 3.9kg. Feel free to ask any questions. Sale only no trades. Price £950 but open to reasonable offers. Shipping is included in the price but is UK only.

I just purchased a new to me Stingray BFR so a few basses need to go to try and make up for some of the cost. Bought this off Karlfer on here a few months ago and it is in exactly the same condition, please click link to see original advert for spec Photos by me below. Price is the same as I bought it for from him, £650 plus UK shipping fully insured with UPS which is usually around £40. I have an extensive boxes and bubble wrap etc to ship it properly. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking, Jimmy.

I just purchased a new to me Stingray BFR so a few basses need to go to try and make up for some of the cost. Here is my Geddy Lee Jazz Bass which has been Crafted in Japan which I’ve had for about 4 years. It has the 70s bridge pickup position for that punchier bright sound and it has the thinnest jazz neck on market. It is in good condition but as it is black it is very hard to photo. There is small scrap on the body contour and a scrap at the bottom on the back near the jack (see pics), there are a few small dings but they are barely noticeable, none of the marks have been made by myself as I look after all my gear. The previous owner appears to have also rubbed the gloss down to the skunk stripe and then re-glossed it (see pics) however it now has more of a satin feel to it and is very smooth to play. I have just put new D’addario 105 - 45 nickels on it and done a full set up with low action at 2mm on the 12 fret and plays fantastically well with no fret buzz anywhere on the fretboard. Comes with a Fender gigbag and weights 4.5k. Price is £650 plus UK shipping fully insured with UPS which is usually around £40. I have an extensive boxes and bubble wrap etc to ship it properly. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking, Jimmy.

I just bought Anders Limelight Purple P Bass and I'm extremely pleased with it. All the information advertised about it was 100% accurate. He is also very quick at coming back to messages and shipped the bass immediately. I couldn't be happier with the transactions and the purchase, I'm sure we will be doing business again soon, cheers Ander.

This bass is in very good condition considering it is from 1997 with one small chip on the back and a ding on the front near the top horn (see pics). It has large pole piece John Suhr pickups which are different sizes just like a more recent jazz bass so they can be changed if desired for any other pickups (this was not the case for a normal Mexican made bass of the time as both pickups were the same size and couldn’t be changed). It has a dark rosewood fretboard with excellent fretwork and a John East J-Retro Deluxe Preamp installed but the original will also be included. Set up with a low action and D'Addario Nickels 45 -105. Comes with a Fender gig bag and the weight is 4.3kg. Price is £600 including fully insured shipping with UPS across the UK only or £550 collected, no trades cheers.

I believe that this is the first run of the American Professional Precision Bass as the serial number is from 2016. I bought it about 6 months ago as new old stock and it is in mint condition except for the usual minor swirls on the pickguard. It originally came with a mint pickguard but I have put an original Fender tort guard on it which cost £70. I didn’t like the pickup so I installed a standard Lindy Fralin boutique pickup in it which cost £140 (the original V Mod pickup will also be included). The bass weighs just under 4kg on the kitchen scales and balances perfectly when sitting or standing due to the lightweight tuners. It has a very comfortable satin neck and has the much prized 1963 P bass profile. Comes with the original Elite Fender hard case. It is set up with a low action and nearly new D’Addarrio Nickels 45 – 105. Standard specs below. Price is £1,250, this includes fully insured shipping with UPS across the UK only or £1,200 if collected, no trades cheers. SPECIFICATION DETAILS Neck Scale Length 34" (864mm) Neck Fingerboard Material Maple Neck Frets 20, Narrow Tall Neck Nut Width 1.625" (41.3mm) Hardware Tuning Machines Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style Keys with Tapered Shafts Electronics Controls 1 x Master Volume, 1 x Master Tone Neck Profile "1963 C" Neck Fingerboard Radius 9.5" Body Finish Olympic White Body Wood Species Alder 4-Saddle HiMass Vintage Neck Nut Material Bone

Stingray Special HH Dargie Delight 3 Ball Family Reserve (BFR), completed on January 25th 2019 which is in excellent condition. It was a limited run and is number 62 of 98 instruments ever produced. It weighs 4kg/8.8lb and is in excellent condition. As this is a BFR it is made with the finest of woods. The neck has a matte finish with two strips of pearl inlays on each side of the fretboard and I’ve just added a bit of Dr Fret to the beautiful ebony fretboard to rehydrate it (see pics) plus a brand new set of super slinkies which I’ve set up with a low action. Comes with the usual Musicman Stingray hard case. Retail price was £3,150 in the UK, asking for £1,800 but open to offers. Happy to ship across the UK if you arrange it. Trades that I would be interested in are a Musicman Stingray Classic with a maple fretboard or a 60s/70s spacing jazz bass in any colour other than natural, cheers Jimmy.
