    Another shorty fan here. Dabbled a year or so back, but then went back on the full scales. Decision I regretted, and I hunted for a decent replacement ever since. My personal thing is for the Gibson SG shorties...I think they're a 30.5". Found one as new example earlier this year, and I've now got a pre-order for a new one. Obviously they stopped them a while back, but there's a limited edition run coming to the UK, well, shortly! Already available in the US. Tone, playability....it's all here. I do understand that if your a big guy, it can look funny after playing a full scale. However, it's still bigger than a 6-string, and loads of guitarists are far from small! Proceed with confidence. I've had fun changing my technique on purpose... approaching the instrument differently, good to shake things up. It'll make you question why the 'Fender' scale became the standard. Good things come in small packages!

    TGI 'EXTREME' BASS GIG BAG. Bought last year, barely used (I'm a hard case fan, so it went to rehearsal and back once!), so condition is excellent, immaculate.     Sad that they discontinued that bass. I actually preferred it to the one they replaced it with! It wasn't even made for that long, not really given a chance. At least Gibson are making some basses again. I've developed a real thing for them!

    I got Kim Gordon by her posture. She played a lot of basses over the years.... although I do always kind of associate her with the T'bird mainly.

    Fender Jazz Bass - Fiesta Red. For sale, no trades thanks. Bought by myself in August this year from Red Dog Music. I purchased the bass brand new. It's a 2013 build - so they had in stock for a bit! Stock, but brand new and unplayed. It was the only new one I found at the time. Since then, I've only used it for a short time at home. As such, the condition is (for a RW) exactly as it came to me. Dare I call it 'as new'! It is 3 months old. These now retail at over £1300. The relic job on this one is excellent. I've seen others that are very worn - this example is not. The photos show the detail - it's a beautiful bass. It will come with an immaculate, and close to new Gator GPE-TSA hardcase (cost around £120). Don't worry, the small sticker will be removed! Strung with Fender 9050L flats. I'll even throw in a used set as spares for you. Reason for selling - I'm going full-on short scale. Got one, getting another. This is my only other regular scale bass, so it must go. Weight-wise, it's lighter than a US Standard I sold earlier in the year (that was 9.1, I'd guess this around 8.5). These are very easy to play. So you have a showroom-fresh Roadworn, and an immaculate Gator hardcase - not to be confused with the cheaper variants. With a spare set of used strings! To buy this now would cost you over £1450. Looking for £875. Free postage UK, Europe please add on an extra £10. PayPal 'gift' or bank transfer. Here's an incentive - for cash on collection (or bank transfer funds in adavnce), you can also have the original deluxe Fender gig bag (unused), and a TGI Extreme gig bag (barely used) thrown in.That's another £50+ worth of extras.
