    Bit stuck here! I've got a Markbass 151 cab, one of the speakon inputs is dead. Also got Markbass amp that also appears to have a speakon issue..... Does anyone know of someone in the area who can look at such things? I've always found luthiers easily, but I'm sitting on these two not knowing where to take them! ☚ī¸ Any thoughts? 🤔

    I went to see them on Sunday night. Not my regular taste, but I'll admit I really enjoyed it. Mainman Mike (used to have that hair) has got a great American band with him. Super tight. Waited around afterwards, we were the last two still there...he came out for a chat, pics...really cool. The bassist, Pando, has I believe been with him for a while. My sole gripe...the bass tone! Wooly, no definition. Nice T-bird type bass....but with a smiley face EQ! And I did get one of the picks he threw out! But a fab night, and a really good watch.

    I don't keep gig lists any more, but I keep any memorabilia, wristbands, and the like. Setlists as well....I'd have kept last weekends, but 2 got stolen!

    Seen the prices of Markbass amp bags....ÂŖ60! Seems a bit excessive, just for the yellow image of Marco in his shades on the front... Any ideas on any others that fit...just a standard size. I'm hopefully taking possession of a new Little Marcus 58R this week...

    Somebody buy these. The JB combo is one of the best out there, believe now discontinued? Combo alone at that price is amazing....with a cab as well? Any buyer should be wearing a mask! 😉 Good luck with sale, OP....there's no reason why this should ever be still here! 👍

    ....and doing an amazing job! 😁 I'm the recovering player - two retinal detachments and a vitrectomy in my left eye. Had a single one in my right in 2017....never thought I'd go through this again..... Sad to be missing some cracking gigs, but many thanks to Martin for stepping in and doing brilliantly. Legend! 🙏

    RIP Algy. I read a while back that he wasn't well, think he's struggled a bit over the years. Saw The Damned on Whistle Test repeated in the early 90s....I was blown away by his bass tone right there. Can only imagine how it sounded live.

    Just dabbled with Roto flats....loved them...but have returned to the NYXL family. Best round, around, IMHO.

Please PM if you'd be interested in both (we'll sort something), otherwise I'll simply list them when thy're removed from the bass.
