    Anyone have any experience of Rotosound double bass strings? RS4000 I think they are - I need some new and there's some on ebay, I always use rotosound on my electric basses, but not a make I've ever associated with bd strings really. I play with my fingers and rarely with a bow. Any advice gratefully received, Johnjo

    Does anyone know of a db luthier, Yang Ming, Chinese - said to make good stuff (by the person selling the bass!) I will obviously look and listen and touch before parting with hard earned cash, but any pointers would be useful in advance, Cheers, John
