    Boudica ICENI ZOOT 5 string lined fretless new condition no marks bought last year from basschat member , I just find playing a fretless realy hard, and the extra string is to much ,also this bass has 28 frets well it would have if it had frets( if you know what i mean! So looking to sale or trade for 4 string fretless or fretted. I paid over £1000 for bass so looking for at least £900 or trade I am located in Reading Berks, would prefer not to send. Prefer collection or could deliver if fuel costs paid as long as its not too far. comes with case cheers trev

    I had one of these it is a dmz 4001 great little basses I had mine for years bought it in 79/80 after seeing Trevor Boulder playing one with Uriah Heep the only problem i had was the neck warped, and there is no truss rod so could not adjust. Its a shame you were not nearer to me i would be interested it buying but would need to try out first. I live in Reading Berks,

    Thanks for a great afternoon, it went too quick must make it longer next time, although i brought four basses and stands, and my ebs rig, i came from Reading 80 miles, i got halfway ,then remembered i didnt put speaker leads in car !!!! but oldslapper came to the rescue, without a thought he leant me his !     can you please tell me if you can adjust string tension on a bass? I have recently played a bass that felt perfect for me! the string tension was quite loose, the action was low, the tunning was standerd, but my basses seem to be a bit tighter. would it be the gauge strings? or the action height? or truss rod adjustment? or all? please can you help.... many thanks.
