So I'm reading a review of this awesome box of tricks costing about four hundred pounds which has two inputs, each with volume, Eq, and Nasa level illuminated knobs and whistles, and I thought, that would be good to have two radically different basses coupled up at the same time, all levels sorted. But not at that price ! Any of you guys know of a simple and affordable but decent quality jobby ?, I bet the guy who makes wiring looms on here ( Charic ?) could maybe help, thanks.

thanks BigRedX, already bought the strings, they weren't cheap as they were all singles, looking for ways and means now

So, in an attempt to fit flatwounds on a HB-8, I'm sort of thwarted by the fact that the original string set appears to be four bass strings, 34" scale, and four guitar strings, really long ones ! All the flatwounds I have purchased are bass strings and the ball ends won't sit in the guitar sized 'ferrule's'. Is this the correct term for this item ?, and any pointers as to a place to purchase from ? In theory I could fit the larger size in an enlarged orifice ( steady now !)

Hi, so is the Barracuda 6 tuned E to E like my Musicman silhouette bass 6 ?

I often change the look of amps and cabs, but I leave the mathematics of it alone, there's been a few driver units on fleabay recently, can't be too big a job now I think about it, apart from cost ?, all my bass amps are Ashdown, all my bass cabs are Orange. Good luck if you bite the bullet.

Er, Caro Emerald in Sheffield, touring band were a bit down on numbers, but most could play more than one instrument, so they pretty much got the sound for each number, really good but not excellent.
