im thjinking about getting the gr-20 with bass pickup. is it any good dya know?? its fairy cheap aswell i think for a synth. can you blend the synth sounds with the original signal from the bass?
3. as lovely as some boutique instruments are, i dont think i could spend that much on something, you could get a fairly decent car for a couple of grand. my favourite bass is currently my ibby srx300. its prolly worth about 100 quid but it plays like nothing else ive played. its set up how i want has perfect gauge strings. the only thing that lets it down is the sound. its good enough but doesnt come close to my trb
4. ive decided i want this and should be getting one after crimbo. might get it in a 6er
5. god dammit this is lush. wait 2 weeks and ill have it off you. only down the road from you aswell...finance is sht
6. whats this "should be"? its all bollocks. where do YOU feel it goes best. it isnt about what should and shouldnt be its an art form...you wouldnt say to matisse "that house is wonky, its wrong start again"
7. that neck looks a bit thin!
8.
The middle of this has some POG Hammond impressions on bass.... http://www.alunvaughan.com/OMAHP.mp3 All the other nonsense is also the POG
thats the craziest sh*t ive ever heard

10.
I've had an Alden violin bass for about 2 years and have had no problems at all with it. I have noticed the build quality seems a little variable though - they had a few there and the one I bought was by far the nicest Cheers Alun
how much are they paying you...? seriously, im interested in that six string though.
11. srx's have the comnpletely flat body whereas the sr's dont. the sr's tend to have better pups though
12. i have the srx595 and its rather good
13. ive got the 4 string version. it absolutely kills. the tone is fantastic i dont thiknk i really need to upgrade at anypoint in the future. will buy others for fun though.

it sounds awesome in larry grahams vid. BUT. ive heard his is the only decent sounding one. is that true or bull? are they any good at all?
18. these are mine, along with my yam trb. one closest is srx595, bought it when i was in a metal phase, still love it, great crunchy tone. Sometimes can get rex from pantera tone through it. and the other is a 7 year old srx300. I don't care what people say about all these flash basses people go on about, it may not sound as good (although it does sound rather decent) i havent played anything better (yet), its better than my other srx and yam trb (well just a little). i tried this bass and a cheap spector. i chose the srx. I think this bass was made for me. As stupid as it sounds.
19. so somehow your rewarded or something for posting lots?
20. well nice mate. you can pick these up for stupid prices now

22. we just need a shed and 57 basses...
23. these pedals sound rather awesome.
24. i went to the big music store in birmingham, the one opposite new street station, recently. i couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the bloke was. he was letting me try everything and saying "if you didnt like that, why not try this" what a diamond of a bloke. he didn't hover around, stare and make you feel uncomfortable as you play like alot of people do in shops, obviously all the guitarists were staring, but the guy just buggered off and let me get on with it. thats what i like.
25. cheers guys. i dont think theres a review there for the exact one but i as i gather they are pretty darn good pedals. so i might invest in one
