1. For sales (no traders) is my Fender Acoustic bass - 4 string fretted. In great condition, only seen a few gigs in nice locations; and generally works as a 'fun thing to have around in the house'. Bought it around 5 years ago when I was in an acoustic trio - but not doing that any more. Here's a link to a description https://www.dawsons.co.uk/fender-cb-100ce-electro-acoustic-bass-guitar?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuMHWhP2u1wIV4RbTCh261gABEAQYBCABEgJQz_D_BwE 34" scales and 22 frets - it has a big sound unplugged and sounds lovely through an amp. I also have a decent padded bag, a (new) set of strings to throw in - just for fun. Happy to post in the UK and beyond; pm me with an offer. 2. Still for sale - couple of offers but nothing concrete. £250 is the asking price!
3. Price drop bump...
4. Now, why did I just spot this now... :-( football with my eldest this morning then onto a gig in the afternoon. Darn darn darn.
5. Pre-emptive weekend bump!
6. These cabs are incredible! I just bought 2 of them for a LOT more than this. Grab yourself a bargain.
7. Cabinets now sold - head still available!
8. @shakaflea - if that question is to me; I paid 1350 GBP for my Stingray in 1994. Back then, that was a lot of money ;-)
9. Hi Muzomatt - it's a pickup blend on the 2nd pot. Pretty much the same as a standard p or j bass. There stacked pots control bass / treble and mid boost / cut once the active circuit is engaged. Lots of tonal variety!
10. Yep Mike - P-neck; but very easy to play. Not as wide as the 99 p bass that I was using previously. @ project_c thx man - it's a great bass and really versatile. Especially with the dropped-d hipshot (can put the original back on if required). Only selling as my Monarch Standard is now my main gigging bass and the Fender is getting no love.
11. That is beautiful. I have a Stingray that I bought in 94 when I was 21, awesome instruments.
12. This is a good review with lots of details. http://magazine.dv247.com/2011/04/12/fender-deluxe-precision-bass-review/
13. Fender has installed a Deluxe split-coil Precison pick-up in the usual position and an N3 Noiseless Jazz Bass pick-up in the bridge spot. I already have a couple of 4's and a 5 so it's a 6/7 that I'm really interested in. But you can always ask. ;-)
14. Still up for grabs... price negotiable.
15. Sunday morning - wouldn't you like to wake up with this beauty?
16. Back from a business trip on Friday so if anyone wants to pop around and play this at the weekend.. I have a 1000w Hartke rig and a 750w SWR (for sales!) that you can try out.. make me an offer!
17. Back from a business trip on Friday so if anyone wants to come and play with this at the weekend...
18. That is beautiful! So many different ways to play out of tune. It's almost infinate!
19. She's just been on the scales. 4.6kg, which I think is just a shade over 10lbs.
20. :-) I'll find out shortly. It's perfectly reasonable, much lighter than the P-bass I used to own but heavier than than an Overwater.
21. **Price drop 799** New bass arrival forcing a quick sale! With reluctance.... my 2011 Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass is up for Sale. 4 string, Sunburst with Rosewood neck and Tort pickguard. Original black pickguard is included. Tort was custom made by WD Music and fits perfectly. Best of both worlds with both P-pickups and J-pickup in the bridge position. Active / Passive switch - with Treble, Bass and Mid boost and cut (in active mode). Can be strung through body or through bridge. Also has a Hipshot D-tuner fitter (have original tuner included) - so as versatile as you like. Comes with Fender Strap, Fender Strap locks, Fender Hard Case and original tools (hex bolt and truss rod adjuster.). These basses (now called Elite) are around 1,700 gbp new and this one is flawless. I'm the second owner, the original owner had it under a bed for 5 years as a backup that was never used. Since I bought a Fodera in April, this bass just isn't being played. I love it - it makes an incredible variety of sounds but I can't justify keeping it. What else can I say? Fender, P-bass, case, active / passive, d-tuner, strap. Sunburst with Tort guard... perfect. 22. Roll up roll up for a bargain. Make me an offer.
23. These basses are incredible. I have a Fiesta red one I received in April and I cannot put it down. Gigged it all over the place - hugely versatile. You can get a solid p-bass sound, J-bass, super J (when active) and a classic Victor Wooten sound with everything turned up to 10. Save yourself 20% (at least) on a 'new' one.
24. Trades for 6 or 7 string basses are welcomed... ;-)
