Some real user reviews: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/fender-victor-bailey-signature-acoustic-electric-bass?content=reviews Not plugged in and obviously the camcorder doesn't pick up the deeper bass but a bit of fun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lQgvbblpGk Just a quick point - this bass has an under saddle pickup (main) and a piezo, the latter with a separate volume control so you can have little or as much "body" sound mixed with the main pickup. I guess the piezo makes it sound more acoustic, whilst the saddle pickup on its own provides a more controlled sound. Great bass - a lot of people think it's the best that is/was available for under a grand new and you have to spend decent money to get better. My only real reason for selling is that I am not a well practiced player and should really be sticking to 4 strings for the time being. Anyone interested?

Sandbergs are awesome. I know it may not be what your looking for but do let me know if I can tempt you with my Fender Victor Bailey 5 string Acoustic Bass advertised here plus the difference. Gets you some cash and a cool acoustic bass that was about £800 new... The natural finish for me of course.

Just got hold of a used one and very please indeed so far. I doubt I will ever want/need to amp it up but just incase can I ask anyone who has one to have a quick look at theirs and tell me the following: It has 2 sensors in the body - a saddle pickup and a condensor microphone. The mic has come loose and I am assuming it should be stuck to part of the body Please could you tell me (through looking inside) where yours is stuck to. I can't seem to get any difference in sound by changing the "blend" slider (which mixes the pickup and mic) on the pre amp so hoping this will solve it. Also, anyone tried lowering the action (is this wise on an ABG?) or different strings?

The guitar I want on ebay and the bidding ends in about 35 minutes. If I can get a solid "yes" for my Thunderbird on offers over £700 before then I will bid on the guitar. The highest offer wins and must collect with cash payment this weekend please. This is subject to me winning the bid on ebay, but if you definitely want this bass then let me know now.... Long shot I know but cash flow prevents me from buying the guitar fiirst.
Buy me! Buy me! I have found something else I want/need so would like to offload ASAP....
