4. oh my god! I can't believe that you are actually selling this beauty! the bass plays like butter and sounds huge! It has one of the lowest actions I've ever played! I wish I had money! Good luck for the sale!

8. I'm a really big fan of Jerzy Drozd and I'm a proud owner of a Basic IX
9. Hello everyone I just did another deal with Peter and everything went perfectly. My transfer was faster this time and the delivery was on time and really fast too, from U.K. to Portugal in less then a week. Peter it was a pleasure doing business with you
10. Hello Peter! I've send you a PM
11. I'm a fan of the Groove Tools series. I have one and if you are you a lot of strings, this bass is just right to get started. The neck is slim and really easy to play. The string spacing is very confortable. +/- 17mm center to center at the bridge. Sound wise: If you like bartolini then you wont regret it. I changed the pre-amp to aguilar obp-3 and the instrument gained a new life. It's not expensive and it's a wonderfull tool to play around and discover new sounds.
12. look who's here?!?!?
13. Ive got a groove tools 7 string and that low cost line sounds greats and it has great playability, so this costum version is even better in every aspect. the one who buy this bass will be very pleased with how easy it is to play. the neck is very confortable and the transtion to the 7 string is right on in the first note you play
14. I bought my first yamaha trb 6 mk1 back in 1998 and i've kept the bass for almost 10 years and in a monumental stupidity act I sold the bass the bass was great in every aspect and a few weeks ago I bought back one mk1 from a basschat user and i'm loving to have the bass back again. the strange thing is that you dont dig the sadowsky...i've played both 4 and 5 string version and I totally dig the sound and feel of the fender on steroids tone. but then again, if yamaha is your thing, go for it!
15. I dont have anything new to add to what's already been said but I prefer old instruments because they generally sound better, the old woods are better, the old pickups have more good materials in they're assembly parts.
16. Hello Pete, I've been following your work on talkbass and your basses are very interesting. keep on the good work and welcome to the forum
17. the woods chosen for the bass are amazing. I love to try it someday.
18. oh god! this is a tricky question. I always aim to have an original sound, I use a rare bass and the bass natural sound is unique. In the market I dont see any other bass that sounds like a Jerzy. I'm really happy with the choice and investement that I've made. I dont like to sound like anyone else.
19. I don't mind that other bassists (that I personaly know) play with my amp. If they are a friend of mine that cool and I never had any problems. When I have to play in festivals and gig with a lot of different bands I also use a amp that no one likes and so no one will ask me to play with it my biggest fear is always that a glass of beer or a bottle of water fall on top of the amp
20. I just traded basses plus money with Peter and the basses arrived safe in my country. both hardcases where well aconditioned and the UPS service was great. Peter is a great guy and I'm really looking forward to do business again with him! I just hope that in the next time the bank services in my country work a little faster and better.
21.
WELCOME... Extra strings,Extra fun!
thanks that's right! more strings more fun ehehehe
Hi and welcome, Paulo, from someone who never, ever, gets beyond a Precision!
thank you so much I love the P-Bass, it's the most recorded instrument ever! I would love to have an original from the 70's but they cost a lot maybe some day
22. this bass is amazing! I'm really looking forward to see some more progress pictures
23. a friend of mine has a UL410 at 4ohms and the cabinet is perfect in every way! it is so light weight that I could't even imagine! it has so much power and definition that it's not necessary another cabinet. if you have the money, go fot it!
24. Jerzy's basses are great work horses! I played in several weather conditions and my bass never gets out of tune and the neck is extremely stable to weather changes! the basses may appear delicate but they are strong work tools that never will let you down! Jerzy's work isn't cheap but is the best investement you can make because it will be a bass of a life time!
