    Up for sale is my lovely Ampeg v4b with the matching 212av, the head comes with a custom made flight case as well (worth £250). Will most likely regret selling this but moving house soon so need to free up some funds. This setup brand new would cost around £2000-£2300 inc flightcase.     Ashdown service is always stellar, the bulb on my old CTM300 vu meter went out and he sent me a few new ones in the post for free!

    Subtle saturation goes a long way! EQ plays a big part also, lo and hi pass filters make a huge difference.

    Really don't want to sell this but buying a new house so unfortunately this may have to go! I have not owned this very long, but it sounds, looks and plays incredibly and very light! It does have a thumb rest that I took off but can add back on. It also came with a standard fender soft case which I can include. This bass would really shine with some flats on it but I don’t play any music that would suit that sound so would like to move it on. the stock pickup became noisy so was replaced with the geezer butler signature pickup.     Spent the last 2 days in the studio recording with this setup 😍 Ampeg V4B into the 810av. Thankfully the V4B is already mine but playing through that cab has really made me want one, but my back says no.

    This is the very review that got me to order one of these! I am half tempted to keep hold of it but the HX stomp also does a good emulation of the darkglass sound so not really needing the Joyo anymore. It's just sat in its box on my shelf at the moment next to the OC2.

    I’ve got one of these in fiesta red and it’s the best p bass I’ve ever played! Whoever is on the fence of buying this should go for it, I’d be tempted myself but not a fan of purple

    that does sound like a great idea, if I ever need to swap wireless for some reason I’ll consider that! The Shure unit is absolutely solid though and runs at 5.8ghz so I feel a lot more confident with that as I’ve had issues with cheaper units in the past using 2.4ghz

    My 2024 board (for now) picked up the HX stomp other day and I am super impressed with it. It’s replaced everything on my board, including a cali76 compressor!
