Parcelforce now off my christmas card list
Yan_Huriey replied to Yan_Huriey's topic in General Discussion
I Know I have myself to blame, I'm not looking for sympaty, I put this up as a reminder of what can happen so that others may not make the same mistake that I did, and like others have said I'm not spending money on a case for a cheap bass, as for the insurance, like I said in my original post 'Lesson learned'. -
Parcelforce now off my christmas card list

The same one it was mailed to me in. -
Have a look how Parcelforce handled this (what used to be lovely) Squier Jazz Bass I just sold. I have of course phoned the buyer immediatley and offered him a full refund, he's deciding on whether or not to turn it into a bitsa, I'll be out of pocket either way as I will be compensating him whatever he chooses. I didn't insure it as I've never had problems with Parcelforce before, lesson learned. Still though.....some cave dewlling tw*t managed to do this.🤬 Ruined what was a lovely instrument that the buyer should be enjoying right now. I have filed a complaint and claim for damages, won't cover it all though. 'Great British Parcel Delivery' (my ar*e). I'm flipping raging, so mad I could write a letter.

I got this recently and it's great but I have too many basses. I was quite impressed by the active electronics on it, it's very versatile. Nicely balanced, great value for the money. It's basically very nearly new (2022 model), a few sratches on the scratchplate, but nothing to write home about. One thing to note, the fret markers are pearloid stickers, its black dots under that. Any questions just ask, 🙂

Running a government isn't easy, but it doesent endear you to them when they've kissing the backside of big business who have been, (and are continuing) getting away with everything they can do to avoid paying tax, making massive profits and their rich tory pals have their hands in the till creaming off public money (ppe scandal). There's a lot of people in government and business who should be im jail IMHO. We need to seriously rethink how this country is run because its corrupt as fck, with theTories and Labour both mastubating over the horrific financial model that the USA has. Make a small amount of people super rich, and fck the plebs. Its almost like they want you to be poor. Thanks Brexit wenkerrrssss 🙃 -

I'm sorry i don't quite understand, I didn't ask any question. I do like a Tuba, but i also like a bass guitar, and I like a regular guitar. I also like techno sytnths, I don't think it matters really.

I'm playing guitar just because I like the sound of it, like I'd rather play a simple rock guitar riff than a complex motown bass riff because I like the vibe, plus I'd rather play a simple bass jazz line than a complex guitar country line for the same reason. I'd also most like to play most instruments in every genre that i like. 🙃 The instrument doesn't matter the feeling does, I also have a tuba, you know there's some tunes that just need a tuba, you can't beat a bit of oom-pha in the right situation. ✊

Superb condition, Just used for noodling around, its absolutley superb, however turns out my Jazz band don't like it. 😅 It's got a very powerful EQ, onboard compression and a tuner so it brings a lot to the table. Anyone who plays rock or metal would do well to consider this pedal, that said I've had very nice mellow tones out of it. Pedal Type: Distortion Analog/Digital: Analog Inputs: 1 x 1/4" (instrument) Outputs: 1 x 1/4", 1 x XLR EQ: High, mid (with Shift switch), low Other controls: Volume, chunk, comp, drive, XLR switch, headphone switch, mix footswitch, on footswitch, tuner bypass Height: 1.25" Width: 7.75" Depth: 2.5" Weight: 0.75 lbs. Manufacturer Part Number: DP-3X Any questions just ask.
