  1. Hi guys

I recently bought a feedback buster for my acoustic bass but I am still getting feedback whenever I play in a band setup. Does anyone know how I kill the feedback for good?
    Its a Victor Bailey bass.

    Many thanks

  2. I have been following the music that has been released posthumously and I think for once, this is how I would like to remember Michael.

I have specced one up to use in Church and tried one out in situ. The room is a 450 seater and during set up we gave it some beans to see what happened. It got pretty loud! I am still waiting for delivery so cannot comment definitively, but it would certainly be worth your hiring one to see how it works for you. It is hassle free to rig and packs down easily. I have friend in Cardiff who you could hire. He runs his with a loud soul band with 4 piece horn section having come from the standard RCF on poles tyoe of set up and is more than happy.

Sounds good. When you set up yours in church, please let me know how it goes because I believe the guys here are looking for a new PA.

Nice one! Well worth checking out is 'Just You 'n' Me', the album by J.R. Bailey, writer of 'Love, Love, Love', and contains his version.

One of the finest soul albums ever made. He did a follow up, far lesser know, and only availble on deleted vinyl (I've not heard it).

JRB died, from what I've read, in early 1980, but details are scarce.

But for any DH fans, an essential purchase/download/stream album

Spot on. A mate of mine introduced me to J.R Bailey, some great stuff on there.

I particularly love 'Extension Of A Man', really excellent.

His material with Roberta Flack is no slouch either - prefer the 'later' period, although there's little of it due to Donny's problems. 'Back Together Again' is timeless (although no WW on bass).

Right on brother! That record is solid! Love, Love, Love, why did you take so long to come to me!

I had a Godin, no sound hole, no feedback.

Perhaps i should have gone for a Godin, instead of the Fender.

My Fender Kingman is tamed nicely by a Feedback Buster.

I hope it also works for my Victor Bailey. Thanks!
