I used a Fender, then Marshall but I have been using Markbass for well over a year now and I am content. I did flirt with the idea of swapping that for SWR but for now I wont complain.

I think its all preference. I love Fenders but I have never come to grips with the MIM's. It could work for you. If you give it a go and you love it go for it.

I have bought some gear on here and on ebay as well with no problems in both areas but doing business on Basschat gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

One thing for sure, I need to invest in more Beatles music.

Kirk Whalum's sax solo on CeCe Winans 'He Always There' gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. The first part of his phrasing is just magical!
