But the traffic it gets is high quality, especially when @skankdelvar deigns to put down the Bollinger and grace us with his presence. 😉

Welcome aboard! Never too old to (re)start 👍

Welcome aboard!! I have the wrong glasses on and thought you were calling yourself 45 String. That's over half a piano 🤯
-
Welcome aboard! I will be honest, I have absolutely no idea about how to answer your question because all I own is a 60W practice amp and only ever play through that or the church PA. 😧 However, there are lots of real bass players here who do know what they are talking about, so I would head over to the Amps and Cabs section and ask there. 😁

Overhead power cable? I still think this bridge is a great piece of engineering mind you.

This one @Andyjr1515? It's missing the pics now. -
"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's bass. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife's bass, nor his male or female XLR connectors, his amp or his pedal board, nor any gear that belongs to your neighbour. Just Rock What You Got and shake the mountains! " *The distinctly unauthorised EADG version.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . Wikimedia. I wish it was, but this is mine. Less glamorous, but carries a lot more stuff.

Aluminium necked Kramer DMZ 4000

It's amusing to talk to my children in their late teens early 20s. They weigh in kg, measure in metres, drive in miles, run in km, drink in pints and have no idea what inches or ounces are. I measure as above, except I estimate people in feet and inches, babies in pounds and basses in kg. -
I was irrationally excited to play Em in a song last March 😁

YT will apply all sorts of compression and eq. If your license allows then livestream a reference track that you can compare to the original, both on typical laptop/TV speakers and the church PA. If needs be you might need a separate feed or mix to the stream with different eq.

300 people allowed in church. Ah, those were the days!

We will restart bands in November. The church is taking a very, very, cautious approach. Interesting responses from the different bands. One is desperate to get back in, play live warts and all. One wants to start with just a couple of members so that they can ensure they sound good live and streamed before they bring the rest in, and one leader just likes working in the studio and isn't in a hurry to get back. Frankly I want to be back playing, but it won't happen as I'm the person who has set up all the video and livestream, so until and unless I can hand that over I'll be behind the tech desks.

Do we know anyone who grew the tree for the wood and smelted the steel for the strings? -

Congratulations on the baby! That colour looks much better on a musical instrument than it ever did on a car. -
Another 27" Short Scale Mini Bass (but with LEDs)

How long is the queue? Is it long enough that if I join now and start saving, then I will be able to afford the bass at the end? A Milliways bass perhaps? -
Roger Waters. Played with Pink Floyd, tried to break up the band, failed, rejoined for the Live8 gig. Though we assume not as a full band member 😉

The Squire is an very decent bass, as others have said. The Jag V12 also makes a wonderful noise 😀. Welcome aboard!
