    I'm out. 😭 Struck down by the Lurgi during the week and still not got rid of it. Even if I wake up tomorrow feeling 100% and completely cough-freeI don't want to risk exhausting myself before the working week. I have now been forced to drop out of more bashes than I have attended.😠

    Can I send a dep? I still want to come, but as I am working away 4 days a week at the moment weekends are rather precious. However my son is visiting friends near Taunton, and he would quite like to come to a bash having not yet made it to one. He plays bass and the friend is a drummer, so they would fit right in.

    Jaw dropping! I read the through to the end before I realised it's a 12 string bass, not a 12 string guitar. Did you make the two piece bridge and string-ends, or are there suppliers for such niche items?

    This is an excellent playlist to work too. Really good musicianship and songs and a real variety of styles. The only problem being that I keep looking to see who the bands are!

    Oak Endgrain veneers - who knew that was a thing? Those could look very cool on the body of a fretless with a bridge piezo pickup, and black strings.

    Spring could become crowded with hopefully the return of a Midlands Bash, and a very likely Northern one as well. The Midlands one can be any time though. May works, but July probably would too.

    I don't think we've played Shine Jesus Shine in the last decade. Which is kind of a shame - I'm running through it in my head and you could do it with a real rock drummer, a muscle-bound bass line and a couple of horns - it could be a cracker. Better than most CCW.
