Unlikely! However I think we should all applaud @Chownybass for considering bringing these instruments over. It will take just as much time, and probably more paperwork, to import them as it will take for the fully finished guitars, and for less profit. Just start with the basics, what do you describe them as for export codes? B-stock? Kits? All hassle to think about, compared to just writing them off. And there will be no kudos for the finished guitars as they will have to remain anonymous.

Really enjoying this thread, but not as a musician! I loved the photographs of rehearsal, especially where you could see all the cable runs to the wedges etc. Straight runs, no trip hazards, cables looped. I know it's a bit sad, but I really notice stuff like that. It means the sound guys care about the band and doing a proper job. I have to tell the kids who help out at church that while it makes no difference to the electrics if the cables are a rat's nest and the stage is a mess, it does make a difference to how the musicians feel, and therefore to their performance. If the talent know the crew care about them, it's one less thing they don't think about. More FOH and kit pics please - And concert pics too of course!

Welcome. I started in 2018 as well, though I'm a few years older than you, and I'm definitely still a beginner as I don't play enough with a band. Where in Belgium are you? I spent a while in Leuven as part of my PhD, and have friends round that way. Still one of my favourite countries, and not just because of the beers.

A friend of mine, fine classical musician, was deriding tribute bands. I pointed out that the Berlin Philharmonic was a arguably a Wagner/ Beethoven Tribute band, that the Huddersfield Choral Society only really records The Messiah, and that the string quartet on the radio were specialists in one composer only. Nothing wrong with playing other people's music if it's what you and the audience like.
