  2. And there was me, thinking it was going to be a harpsichord Should be good!
  3. Ideally it should be a randomised double blind test, where you don't know which is which either. Not sure how you do that with cabs though. 🤔
  4. Thatn genuinely is absolutely superb. Hysterically wrong in so many ways, but superb. No human, however stoned they were, could come up with that!
  5. BC collaboration at it's finest.
  6. It's the bank holiday weekend. Who wants to take their neck off on a bank holiday?
  7. Sounds like a BBC3 drama.
  8. I would keep the line. It looks neat and intentional. If anyone asked how you did such a thin line you don’t have to tell them the truth 😉
  9. See the master list on P2.
  10. I think that's allowed. Replacement for a broken item.
  11. Looking forward to the build diary for this project.
  12. Mine too. But he's got major house work to keep him occupied, do maybe he'll slow down? 🤔
  13. Maybe for 2026 we should have a parallel "Gear Acquisition Challange"? T1, basses T2, pedals amps etc T3, any other instruments Points for quantity, not necessarily quality or cost.
  14. No averaging! Likewise no integrating, differentiating, fitting polynomials to the curve of the number of basses bought in a given period or training AI networks to calculate the maximum entropy of the data set of the basses for sale in the marketplace.
  15. Apologies if this has been posted before:
  16. I am massively looking forward to Tap 2. I haven't seen the first one in over 40 years, and for some strange reason the price of the DVD has really gone up.
  17. The bridge is part of the vibrating structures of the instrument, tansmitting and receiving vibrations and resonances between the strings and the body which contribute to the overall sound which will be detected by the pickup. So it is in the path betwen the player's fingers and the listeners' ears and replacing a non-failing bridge on a bass ought to be a T1 fail. On a guitar it's T2 as is the whole instrument. Well that's my view anyway.
  18. And there was me thinking from your posts you were in your mid-thirties! Great playing and pics.
  19. I hope your nephew appreciates he has a one-of-a-kind bass.
  20. Shared on. Some nice stuff on there!
  21. Definitely Following! Where' that "munching popcorn" emoji gone?
  22. I agree with @Hellzero - it definitely looks better with the extra pickup. And sounds good too - well done that man!
  23. Where do you advertise these for sale? I'd like to point a couple of friends to your site as the designs would suit their band.
  24. This already looks better with the additional pickup.
