Thanks for posting such a comprehensive review. I've never heard of an eight-string bass, or heard one. When would you use one, and are you able to post any sound clips?

Anhydrous alcohol wipes. Not the 70%, the 99.9%. Nothing else comes close. I used to buy boxes of 50 individual wipes, but I don't seem to be able to find a link to share.

I agree, it's a justified classic. But not one I'll reach for very often.

This is one of those albums that I admire more than I like. Clearly the songs are really well written and carry lots of emotion, but not emotions that resonate with me. Probably because - to quote Hermione Granger talking to Ron - I have the emotional range of a teaspoon. 😄

Kraftwerk - TransEurope Express. Good album, but would be very boring to play live, especially as a bass player 😄

When I first read this, I thought you were joking. Then I realised you weren't, so I read it again and looked more carefully at the headstock. It's a really neat idea! 👍 What might also work instead would be to run a parallel scratch also from the top of the headstock, exactly the same length, pointing to the 3rd string hole. The current one points exactly to 5th. The two lines would then frame the bau logo and match.
