[/quote]the guy from the Troggs was Reg Presley had a keen interest in UFO corn circles but carried on performing with the Troggs till shortly before he died, AFAIK, saw them on a few occasions, always good fun, made a shed load of money when Wet Wet Wet had a huge hit with his song Love is All Around

Fergal Sharkey, after leaving the Undertones and a short solo career, didn't leave the music industry, but worked for some Government QUANGO to do with the industry bit never performed again AFAIK

must admit I don't understand this preoccupation with light weight heads, cabs yes, but heads no, I've got a 200 watt TE SMX head that weights 13Kg, easy one hand lift, even my missus can carry it, come on lads man up

sounds like what I've got, it was diagnosed as Arthritis I also have trouble gripping things (like undoing jar lids), doesn't effect my playing too much (I play with a pick) and fortunately hasn't got any worse recently, the specialist said they could never tell how bad it's going to get, might not get any worse, but it's very common in somebody my age (60+), thanks Doc, I just take a couple of paracetamol when it gets worse than usual

had a stingray never really got on with it now got a P I use a Zoom unit to get different sounds for different songs, it's more flexible than an active bass and easier to change the tone, never seen an active yet where you can get a passable Lemmy tone , but each to their own

you ought to be cack handed cuts down on decision making no end seriously I had to get a MIA P for this reason and I'm glad I did because I'd have always wondered what they sound like and got one in the end anyway, if that makes sense. You must have had a really crappy MIM one if it sounded thin, being fat with loads of lower mids is what P's do which is why they cut through in a band situation
