    Well my first gig in my hometown. I felt I was rough but we went down a storm. One very strange song, the drummer decided to experiment with a different drum patter for Radar Love. He thought we were put off by the unannounced chage (he'd seen a youtube video). Actually it was the fact he played at a tempo of about 230 instead of 175. I think we broke the Guinness World Record for speed playing the song... I didn't know I could play that fast!

    My better half booked "the ultimate zz top tribute" but they only played 20% zz top songs, ehich confused people a lot, although they were very good (apparently).

    It's like a simplified version of Squid Game. Everyone takes their favourite bass. We then stand in a circle and bash each other unconscious. Last one standing takes all the basses.

    A necro-thread that deserves re-invigoration! I've finally cracked this after three or four sessions. It felt like notes, rythym, tempo - pick any two! Guitarist sent me a link to Mark's video, suggesting I play the bodge at the beginning! 🤣

    A pub we've played a couple of times before, really small and challenging to set up in. Before we started it was prety much at capacity (that's not a huge number of people!) Went really well. At the end we finished with Purple Rain and everyone was singing along to the wo-oh-oh-ohs. Never had so many people doing the rounds to say how much they enjoyed it and even buying us drinks. Even the landlord came and congratulated us all. Nice 😁
