    I teaches harmony, but it's usually pretty pedestrian on the rhythmic side.

    The round tops suit momentary switches being used as limit switches i.e. operated by something like a door or moving plate which may approach at a slight angle. This may be why the small, rounded style is associated with them.

    My understanding is that you use the same notation for the major key and its relative minor. Minor chords are denoted with an 'm' e.g. VIm would be Am in C.

    Is there a visible difference? My PA amp has 4-pole outputs but I can't see any obvious difference (maybe this just means my bass amps/cabs are 4-pole as you suggest).

    Run it around the bridge and the end of the neck. At the bridge round the corners, at the neck follow the profile if the edges of the body.

    Me too. They failed whole generations who could have benefited from a bit of instruction and encouragement. The jokes on them as I never suffered being in a choir, and get to play being a rock star at weekends 😁

    The four pin ones are used for things like bi-amping. Haven't come across a bass cab or amp with a four pin speakon socket yet.

    It's pretty much redundant if you use a shielded cable for the loom. You also need to ensure the pot bodies are grounded.

    I always used roto 66 swing bass. Now I have Fender nickels on most of my basses. Not as bright but keep a vintage sound longer.

    Most useful? Putting on Planet Rock and trying to play along to as many songs as possible, by ear, for months. Least useful? A teacher I asked about improving my technique who wanted me to learn theory I pretty much knew already.

    I understand that Creality have launched a printer using four reels of pla to print up to 16 colours, presumably by mixing them in some sort of combination extruder. I guess four striking colours and twelve muddy grey-browns...

    Our vocalist has a reference mic he uses with the digital desk. We have to stay schtumm while the system puts out white noise on each and then both channels and automatically adjusts the system to match the room acoustics. I am instinctively sceptical but it does seem to get good results.

    Fairport Convention have got through about 25 members and although Simon Nichol was in the original lineup, he was absent or many years. No one seems to get exercised about this.
