Last night was a small club venue, stage cluttered - even had a bagged up double bass in one corner and a piano in the other. Started with a small but enthusiastic criwd, who then grew to a full house for the second hot sweaty set. My predecessor with the band was thete and was very kind praising my sound and dancing with his wife. Today was Caerleon Arts Festival. Lots of angst as last year pa was poor. No worries as it turned out to be excellent. We went down a storm. Soundman told me I sounded like Jack Bruce which has made my year 😎

I gigged mine through my AT212 to see if it was up to it. It was great.

I recorded this with a go prounder next to the pa stack last saturday. Image quality excellent, sound not too bad.

I always think Nik Turner should do a duet with Annie Lennox.

Bands who play to the end of their slot as if they can clear the stage in 0 minutes.

We got told we were too loud at a villager festival. Our sound guy (guitarist's dad) had to forcibly point out that standing in front of the PA wasn't the best place to see if the sound was too loud for the neighbouring houses 100m away.

That's been pretty much standard since the 80s, although these days many venues won't.

Played a beer festival in Llanmaes. Bloody awesome, went down a storm.

Foillowing the long anticipated publication of Johnny Goes Up, I'm sure we are all on tenterhooks waiting for Johnny Goes Down.

I think I said Friday's gig went well. Went to a smashing gig at my usual Saturday night haunt, by a recently reformed classic rock trio with a great guitarist. He's seen our videos and is up for a double header gig, already thinking about details.

Nervous about a beer festival next weekend. We have a two-hour slot between other bands and have to use our own PS. Last night it took 2 1/2 hours to set up the Pa and get everything sorted...

Windsor in Penarth. Expecting a quiet night, good crowd, much dancing and screaming. Got asked to autograph a cd! 😎
