    The reality of this has been underlined for me by the way my TE 4x10 combo reacts to being close to a wall ... the amount of bottom end becomes huge, too huge.

    I find I am using my hotone nano into my PJB C5. Kind of odd combination of chesp and cheerful and not cheap bug still cheerful! Sound is remarkably good even at low volume.

    They cut their own throat by bigging up a show just for bass then watering it down and fown again. The reports are exactly what I expected it to be like. Would rather travel for a bass bash.

    Full size Hohner drumkit with two drum mounted toms, floor tom, and all breakables. Non matching snare. Faded red colour. Tatty but fully working when last set up. Some minor issues e.g. bass drum rim a bit chewed where beater pedal fits. Snare needs bew bottom skin but could be temporarily patched with duct tape. Would benefit from being set up by an experienced drummer. Includes throne and new cowbell. Might even be able to find some sticks. If cleaned up would be a nice vintage looking kit. Was gigging kit of the guy I bought it from. Probably worth a fair bit, but I want it to go to a youngster or someone who really needs a giggable kit but can't afford it. Please don't buy it to sell on. No photos as broken down for transport/storage. Happy to give free to enthusiastic youngster. Must be collected.

    I went ahead and used the hollow bits to drill out the screws, then glued in two wooden plugs with two part epoxy. Need to mark up and drill for the new screws - and get new screws, they are 74mm below the head, just under 3"

    🙂 there's no way either of my headless basses are going! Need to think, but I might be interested in waving a few dollars at you... I might have to lose a bass if I do this though... Is it candy apple red or deep red? (doesn't look metallic in the pics) Do you have the bridge cover?

    My basses are like friends. Rediscovering the joy of making music completely changed my life for the better after a long hard time. People or basses, looks may influence the initial attraction, but that's not what makes for a happy union in the long term 🙂
