  1. Hi - sorry, but I won't be able to ship this just now
  2. Thanks @Clarky - you beat me to it! 😁👍
  3. Cheers! 😁👍
  4. Bumping this & now offering UK postage all in for £350. Would do it for £300 cash/collection from Newcastle if that works for you... 👍
  5. Cheers! It's a really nice bass - feels a lot more comfy than a Longhorn without really adding much weight. If I wasn't downsizing my bass space I'd hang on to it...
  6. Think I should be able to sort postage out on this one at cost or do it for £350 collected. I've also found some side tape from Danelectro that I can throw in if you wanted to move the strap button & return the bass back to stock. Give me a shout if you're interested... 😁👍
  7. Recently sold a Yamaha bass to Dunc & it couldn't have been smoother - great guy to transact with & wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again in the future. Enjoy the bass! 😁👍
  8. Just done my second deal with @warwickhunt & again it was a great experience - enjoy the bass! 😁👍
  9. @warwickhunt - great to see you earlier on. Looks very Hamer-esque without the scratchplate! 😁👍
  10. Could be interested in trades for a short scale bass with cash either way for the right instrument...
  11. Cheers! It's a very personal thing, but I found that a shorter scale with a Jazz width needs a bit more depth to feel right...
  12. @Obrienp - I discovered medium scale as a really good compromise between sound & playability. Best way to describe it is like playing one fret up (short scale is more like two). The custom route is expensive & when I went down that road I never found something I settled on, including a beautiful-looking Maruszczyk 32" Jake. I'm not just saying this as I have a bass to sell, but the neck profile on this era of Yamaha basses are great - jazz width, but substantial depth at the bottom frets. Lovely!
  13. I reckon I could do this for £200 + postage - UK only 😁👍
  14. Jaccjazz bought a Yamaha bass from me & he was a joy to deal with. Great comms, prompt payment & no issues at all - would definitely not hesitate to do further deals in the future. Enjoy the bass! 😁👍
  15. Nice bass! I see the machine heads have been swapped out - is there any neck dive?
  16. Nothing specific in mind yet, Mark. Something lightweight is pretty much my only real criterion yet...
  17. Sold locally - thanks for the interest!
  18. Bump - could do it for £300 posted...
  19. Blatant plug, but put my 32" scale Yamaha Motion Bass up for sale... https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/464887-yamaha-motion-b-mb-iii-medium-scale-bass/
  20. Best way to describe it is compact & really comfortable - it has a Jazz-style 1.5" nut & Fender spacing at the bridge, but less of a pronounced taper than a Fender in terms of neck profile. Having said that, it doesn't feel chunky & it certainly doesn't feel wide. I have had a go on a couple of Spector & Warwick basses over the years that have a similar feel. Not sure if that's helpful, but If there are any specific measurements you would like to know then give me a shout...
