1. Do you have any tracks featuring the bass - you know, soundclips/ Myspace page or Youtube clips? Just curious - I'm interested to know what kind of music you're doing on these big instruments!
2. Interesting Basslab thingie. Have you got any recordings of you playing it?
3.
Any ideas?
http://www.google.co.uk
4. Well, Johnny Rotten called the bass 'the only instrument in the band that no one listens too'.
5.
a fellow bc'er who's got great strength and versatility in his playing.. my sort of scales too..
That guy is excellent.
6. They're the one of the best designed basses - slim, lightweight and incredibly playable. and they look great.
7. I forgot - here's Davo and hi CB bass:
8.
Never played one of Chris's basses but have drooled over them often. I gather they're nice then! I thought about ordering one just before the exchange rate bottomed a year or two ago; that put paid to that. Hoping for a Rim in the near future (er, I'll rephrase that ), still GASsing for another Sei, an ACG would be nice (you're on the list Alan!), always for another Alembic, and flying in the face of my thoughts for many years, I really fancy a P (bass that is).
The CB basses play effortlessly without buzzes all the way up the neck (with great intonation) and the that miraculous heel makes it feel very special. BTW if you want a P bass go for the Squier - it's incredible.
9.

Oh I love that dark neck with light markers!
10. I'll come clean; I've been gassing for a 32" scale Bordwell bass for the last two years - ever since I played Davo's beauty. Examples thus (not Davo's bass): The smoothest fretted bass I ever played Works out too expensive for me because of the exchange rate, bank charges, import duties and shipping, VAT etc. Shame.
11. I will be getting something really nice sometime later in the year ... but there are two more items of desire only obtainable if the Euro and Dollar fall in value against the pound.
12.
Hello everyone Well, I've decided to withdraw this bass. I just can't bring myself to sell it, even though I rarely play it. Apologies to all those who have expressed an interest. Best wishes Gareth
I personally think it's quite a good idea to get rid of any instrument that you 'rarely play' unless you want to hold on to it for sentimental reasons.
13. Terrific looking bass.
14. Out of curiosity I played a Squier Precision in a shop recently. It was absolutely immaculate - better than I remember the original Fender. It was just over £200. Unbelievable.
15. Looks great. I particularly like the harder edges on the contours - it makes a change as every other bass builder seems to round them off to buggery these days.
16. Oh God, NOT AGAIN.....
17. A Bargain......
18. Blasphemy
19.
a drummer who understands the idea of light and shade.
.................................
20. Magnificent.
21. Wow. As mentioned above talk to BigRedX about them!
22. Can you tell me more about the 4-string? Is it bolt on/neck thru? How about some more pictures?
23. Years ago I used to stuff tiny bits of soft tissue my ears at loud gigs and on stage. That stopped the ringing but the only problem was compacted wax (which I still suffer from)
