  1. I should have put /s at the end, shouldn't I?
  2. we've all seen the TV programmes. You can just go rogue, then say "but guv..." and it will be fine. 😁
  3. I think Ben Miller (Armstrong & Miller) is on drums and Mark Williams (The Fast Show) is on keys. I recognise the guitarist too, but can't remember his name. Not sure who the bloke in the audience that the camera keeps going to is, though 😄
  4. Lou Reed never had a good voice, but it was perfect for what he did with the Velvet Underground.

  6. Crap! I can't offer any advice as to a light bass, but I do wish you a speedy recovery.
  7. Are they knitted from tone wool? Are they good for metal?
  8. "it has four strings and people think you are weird for playing it..." 😆
  9. I played it for a while in primary school, but didn't practise enough and gave it up, to my eternal regret. I think I struggled to reach the extended notes.
  10. 😬 It might have been legal wherever it was that they got married, but c'mon Jerry Lee... that's just not right.
  11. Eric Clapton - racism/anti-semitism (though apparently he apologised in more recent years, blaming it on drink and drugs). Van Morrison - anti-lockdown diatribes and calling the health minister "dangerous" Morrissey - where do you start?
  12. Had they been playing over here? I don't think any of SLF live here now. I think Jake Burns lives in USA. Ali McMordie may live here or possibly England. I would say Ian McCallum and Steve Grantley probably both live in England. That reminds me, I must see if there are any tickets left to see them in Belfast in August.
  13. Would my Fender Rumble 25 be big enough for the O2? It's all I've got. 🥺 😄
  14. Imagine if Diana Ross came on this thread to reply... 😏
  15. What is your budget and how loud are you prepared to put up with 😄? You could get a Fender Rumble 15 for around £110 or there's the Harley Benton HB-20B for £68
  16. Funnily, I'm just in the middle of watching an unboxing/review video. I think it's the first time he has done one and he explained that he's doing it so that viewers see how the guitar arrives, how it's packed etc, rather than seeing him a review a guitar that he's already tuned and adjusted the action and relief on.
