  13. Up for sale is my Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Bass, 2012, Made in China. I believe this is the last year of production in China. Great bass, all original. High-mass bridge with brass saddles. Hardware is tarnished, as always happens with these basses. Frets are in really good condition; it is strung with a fresh set of Elixir. I am going back to uni to study jazz. I will thin the herd and keep just one electric bass and one double bass for myself. Thanks for reading. Nick
  14. PS. It is not from a pet free home PPS The dog pictured is not included on the sale PPPS The dog never played my basses (I asked)
  15. Edit: found the original strap, with the straight Fender logo (last picture) I know I'm going to regret this, but here for sale is my Fender 1978 Precision Bass. She is not a case queen, but still in really good condition for her age. 100% original. After the original owner passed away, the bass stayed for too long in a leather gig bag. Unfortunately, the varnish on the headstock reacted (kind of melted). I decided to keep the bass this way instead of respraying it. Plenty of character all around. Light patina on the hardware, 100% original electronics, original scratch plate with serial number on it, pickup cover, and ashtray (you can still see the old foam underneath). One interesting point is that the bass is strung with Rotosound black nylon from the same period. A lovely vintage tone. A good point about these strings is that the frets are in as-new condition. No fret wear whatsoever. I also have a vintage Fender hard shell case I am selling separately. I believe it is from the late 60s/early 70s. It has one latch broken, but it is an easy fix. Price: £1900 (cash) for the bass alone, £200 for the case I would rather not post it but would deliver if you live on the way to one of my gigs or deliver it 2h from Rotherham for the fuel costs. I am going back to uni to study jazz. I will thin the herd and keep just one electric bass and one double bass for myself. Thanks for reading. Nick
  16. Hey dudes and dudettes, Here for sale is my workhorse Fender Precision Bass, crafted in Japan, 04/05. The bass is all original and in good shape for a 20-year-old bass, with a few scratches here and there, but 100% functional. Frets are as new. Strung with La Bella flats 760FS. There is a light tarnish on the hardware, and there is a gap on the scratch plate where the previous owner probably put his plectrum. Great-sounding bass and also lightweight. I am going back to uni to study jazz. I will thin the herd and keep just one electric bass and one double bass for myself. Thanks for reading. Nick
