NOW £1300 for CASH sale ***** Dudes and dudettes German double bass up for sale. Believed to be from the 80s. Laminated bass, but really resonant, and with a beautiful finish. Brand new fingerboard, nut, adjustable bridge, tail piece, tail gut and sound post. Included tatty gig bag. The action is really low, and it is easy to play. The luthier said in the next week or so, after the new bridge settle, I need to bring the action up 1.5 or 2mm to get it to the right spot. Located in Rotherham, but delivery can be arranged. will consider part exchange (specially for jap and USA fender basses)

German Double Bass for Sale No labels, but more then one luthier said it is from Germany around 1930-1940. Doing some research, found really similar basses from Anton Schroetter, but there is no label inside to confirm it. It is a 3/4 double bass, laminated. One of the luthiers told me that probably belonged to the army and to schools too (due to the serial numbers - pictured). The bass got the following upgrades: ebony fingerboard, ebony tail piece with new tailgut wire, adjustable bridge, realist copperhead pickup, Manson Superspikes endpin. It is a lovely instrument, with really low action. Selling due space problems, and the fact I can't play two basses at the same time. Happy to record a video with all the blemishes, audio samples and/or any detail required. The bass comes with a gig bag. Dog in the picture is not included.
