Lead singer came in. Took over the band. Ousted you to get his mate in. So basically, do as I say, not as I do. Bands like that never work out and eventually implode. Not your fault at all. Find another band that plays the music you want to play.

I got extremely lucky on the off chance. I was after a mint green guard for ages but had that problem of it being way too overdone or just looking cheap. I gave up and purchased a Musiclily Ivory pickguard and waited for it to arrive. When it did, I was pretty impressed. Fitted my Jazz bass nicely and all the screw holes lined up. The best bit was that it had the smallest of mint green hints to it and it looked amazing against the natural alder on my bass.

Ha, saw the bass yesterday in Dublin.

I have this same problem on my Micro Bass. Hmm...

My settings for the SB are gain 10.30, volume 9.00, bass 13.00, treble 11.00 in fat mode.

I love mine with my Jazz bass. My sound but more.

Good stuff! The clean setting is your sound but just more volume, tiniest hint of gain. The fat setting boosts the lows and the mid setting boosts the mids. Fat and mids both have more gain on tap than the clean setting.

Since when have big corporations been good guys? At the end of the day, they're operating a business to make money, not make friends.

It's weird. I was put off Schallers before I even tried them as a result. Like I said, I have had the same pair of Dunlops for 10 years, moved them between a few straps and they still work as good as the day I bought them. Maybe I was lucky?

Had a Diago Powerstation for years with no issues - just daisy chain everything off that.

I've turned down a lot of gigs recently on the principal that the person booking the gig does not understand I would rather be paid than do it for 'exposure'. The first line is always "How many tickets can you sell?" or "How many people can you bring?". I ask if there will be a set fee, which there never is, then am countered with "You get £1 back for every ticket you sell!" so they get to keep the remaining £4 and then in effect it has become pay to play...

Well let's put it this way... I have owned a BB, Beta OD, Blueberry and COG Knightfall yet prefer the Spark to all of them.

You won't regret it! I prefer it to my old Xotic BB.
