  1. Couldn't find any using the search function.
  2. Any thoughts on these? Looking for a backup bass and these fit the bill perfectly. Love the daphne blue colour as well.
  3. But they will still be making money off 'owning' the master recording right?
  4. This is shocking to be honest and a complete scandal for not just Universal but the music industry itself. If the label had any sort of spine (doubtful), it would let the artists take ownership of the 'lost' masters from here on in.
  5. A lot of adverts also don't know the difference between music they like and music they play.
  6. JMB is useless. We advertised for a drummer and in the ad it clearly stated the location of our rehearsal room and the ideal candidate will have a full drum kit and can drive. A 'drummer' replied but: He lives 30 miles from where we rehearse He can't drive He only has a snare and a hi hat He seemed to think it could work though despite these small issues...
  7. It was better back in my day! Oi! Give me back my Ovaltine - Nurse!!
  8. Isn't any large outdoor field with multiple bands on the day enough to qualify as a festival? Sounds like everyone doesn't like camping or people.
  9. Why are people so surprised? The main three things that affect tone are the pickups, strings and your playing style.
  10. Mountain Song by Jane's always.
  11. What grade sandpaper would you recommend?
  12. £51.50 for a standard celluloid tort guard!
  13. Have you bought a pickguard from there before?
  14. I've had so many problems trying to get a pickguard that fits my Jazz bass. The main problems are: 1. It's too wide or narrow and doesn't line up with the control plate. 2. It's too thick and is a couple mm higher than the control plate. 3. It doesn't fit the neck or the pickup properly. Where can I buy a pickguard that actually fits?!
  15. I have a CMD121P. I use it without an extension cab and it's still plenty loud enough. I usually play venues which have PA and monitors on stage so the combo is just used as an extra monitor.
  16. I'm not reshaping, just removing some of the flaky plastic on the edges.
  17. What grade sandpaper would you recommend?
  18. I've just got hold of a new pickguard and filed it down to size since it was a little big around the control plate. There are still some slight flaky edges along the top so was going to use sandpaper to smooth it out. Is this okay to do without damaging my pickguard? If so, what grade sandpaper should I use? Thanks in advance.
