Blimey sounds like a very testing time for you all! Well done for your perseverance. Character building for sure 😩x

Pain in the arse to set up, pack away and lug though!!😂x

Just back from a great show at Norden farm arts centre near Maidenhead with the phil Collins tribute. Lovely little theatre, quite an intimate place really, very appreciative audience and always enjoy chatting with them afterwards. Great fun! Wedding to play tonight so completely different, but looking forward to it.

Just my opinion, but if you want loud and modular for rock (or anything for that matter) I’d go; 1x barefaced big baby 1xbarefaced super midget Genz Benz streamliner 900 The bb will do you for probably 80% of your gigs, add the midget and it’s absolutely blow anything off stage time. maybe expensive, but go second hand , I don’t think you’d regret it x

Thanks obrianp, yeah I’m really pleased with it, to be honest one cab would have been fine last night as , in the end I was put through the PA aswell but going to the gig I wasn’t sure of the situation so took both just in case and seeing as it was a very short lug to the bandstand was another factor in me deciding to use both. Ta x

Just back from an amazing evening gig at the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells, my last as stand in for a local funk/soul band. Brilliant atmosphere/audience and we were pretty much ‘bang on it’ playing wise.job well done I think as everyone was very complimentary about my performance tonight and the two I done with them last week, it makes you feel good doesn’t it 😊.lovely bunch of people and players too. X

Sorry only photo taken of me the night before with the spitfire. No videos that i know of taken but it all sounded pretty good , you’ll have to take my word on that 😊.

Just back from standing in for a localish soul/funk band . Marquee gig in a very busy pub garden. Done another gig last night with the same guys and both went very well considering no rehearsal or anything. Last night used my GB Spitfire and today decided to give the distillate a spin. Great fun and I think I gave a good account of myself. 😊👌x

Have never tried…thunderbirds, violin hofner type, any Gibson basses come to think of it,hardly any precision type.lusted after a rickenbacker because geddy had one and had all my illusions shattered when I finally got hold of one at a Earl’s Court music fair years ago. would love to own/have a blast on a proper original BC rich eagle, a steinberger L2 , smith BT 5, Wal Mk 3 5string 🤪

It’s whatever floats your boat I guess, I’m down to 2x LFSYS monza cabs, puma 900, and genz shuttle 9.2 and a streamliner. All of my needs covered very well. One cab is more than enough for rehearsals /pubs and two when i want to spoil myself 😂x

Andy was( and hopefully still is) an absolute genius.I always went to him without fail when i needed set ups or any work done on my trusty MC924 musician and it always felt brilliant after his work. Also quite handy seven dials, Brighton only 25 minutes from where i live. I heard( but don’t quote me on this) that various lacquers, paints he used affected him so he gave it all up BUT again, that may not be the case. Anyway, i have always wondered myself what happened to him and if he was still working with quitars/basses I’d take some of mine back to him for work in a heartbeat! I do hope he is still around and ok, a lovely bloke indeed x

I’d like the look / shape of an alembic Stanley Clarke, but 32’ scale with the wal innards and sounds. That’ll do me just dandy x
