  1. Considering partial trades with other basses or only guitars? I’ve got a Fender Am. Pro. P-bass body with Fender Am. Std. J-bass neck and a Biarnel 4-strings luthier bass with custom-made active humbucking pickups in alder-padouk and ebony fretboard (ultra light - sweet sound, ideal for modern jazz and fusion studio recording). I’m trying to consolidate my stable on vintage sounding and styled instruments. I’m from Italy.
  2. This is because, I believe, Fender modified the writings on the headstock after 1962, so what's shown on this particular instrument is period-correct ...
  3. ... with that bridge, it seems almost an Ultra (it it wasn't for the pickups) 🙂 😁
  4. Got an Am. Pro. P in 3TS with and Am. Std. Jazz neck ..
  5. Nice work 👍 ... if I just could justify another P-bass ...
  6. Hi Maciej. Just out of curiosity, why do you want to sell this bass? I own the same model (you can see it in my avatar) and I deem it the best jazz bass I’ve ever played ... ah, ouch, didn’t see the above post .. question answered then although we are talking about two different types of instrument (I would never make the exchange personally)
  7. The bass body is very nicely finished and good looking indeed as well as the decal on the headstock and the selected tuners (although the tuners are not period-correct and the hootenanny thing behind the headstock is missing) .. however there are true, vintage-reproduction Fender basses that can be purchased for nearly the same price (some of them on this site), which, consequently, can't be considered adequate IMO (I'm providing my reply to the OP's question).
  8. I’m looking for a KILLER P-bass tone and a super-responsive neck .. may this be the right bass? Opinions?
  9. Contact me should you change your mind 👍
  10. Where to buy second hand since here it is taboo?
  11. Open to partial trades?
  12. May it be possible to re-install the original bridge ignoring the misplaced strings-through holes?
  13. IME both TI JF344 and D’Addario Chromes are able to produce good tones ... TI have slightly more high-mids perhaps .. the main difference lie in the strings stiffness which is noticeably less in the case of the JF344, which I greatly prefer as Chromes tend to affect my playing speed after prolonged use
  14. Already stated, however this a Sterling SUB not a Music Man SUB .. you should correct the ad.
  15. Is this the same bass sold here by an Italian guy some time ago?
  16. Interested in selling the neck only?
