Awesome piece of kit!

Does the Palmer pocket amp allow full access to all those controls when used solely as a headphone amp? I’m asking because I picked one up yesterday, plugged in, attached my PJB headphones, and not even the volume control makes any difference to the sound through the phones. I used my sandberg TT passive bass through it, and even had to switch over to the -15db pad option to take the volume down a bit Obviously adjusted it directly from the bass to control the volume to my ears, which was deafening, but simply put, does the eq section on the Palmer just not operate at all when it’s not going directly in to my amp/cabinets? any advice gratefully received, thanks.

What can I say? Just received my new Sandberg bass from Jason. It was superbly packed, tracking provided and delivered in 24 hours. I’m blown away with the bass, and the service provided by the seller. Absolutely brilliant thank you. Can’t recommend highly enough! Attached photo of this beautiful bass at band rehearsal tonight. Thank you very much for this reply! When I bought the cab, the advice was “it’s normal to link one cab to the other”, which seems to be the opposite of what you’ve told me. The guy didn’t seem to know too much about it Thanks - I’ll give this a go. Much appreciated. Just out of interest, what’s the extra hardware that would be needed to wire the cabs in series?

Hi! Just bought a Markbass 151p Traveller, rated at 400 watts, 8ohms My existing rig is an Orange OBC1-500 amp, rated 4ohms minimum load, with an Orange 212 cab, also rated 8 ohms Can anyone advise whether these cabs should be run in parallel or series? There are two speakon outputs on the back of the amp. Also, if I run them in series, should I hook the lower wattage cab up to the amp first, or the higher one? I’m totally new to adding extension cabs, so any advice will be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

I run an orange OB1-500 with the OBC212. Was looking to add the 115 for extra depth and volume. I play in a five piece band and the two guitars are pretty loud... Does anyone have experience of these two cabs with this head combined?
