I have an Xotic X-Blender that has the 2 band eq of the RC Boost built into it, I'd part ex for the EB Volume Pedal and money from you, if you are interested. Also is the EB Jr the 25k or 250k version? Cheers
To clarify, its the passive 250k version. And I'm not really too interested in the X-Blender, but thanks anyway. PJ

EDIT - 1.09.09 - Wah, Volume, and Pedalboard are sold pending the usual. Big Muff, Chorus and Zoom are still available and have been reduced, they have to go! No trades, except for a decent overdrive, a VT Bass (unlikely but you don't get if you don't ask!), or a powered A/B Pedal. The following are all now up for sale. Dunlop 105Q - £63 - SOLD PENDING THE USUAL - The industry standard bass wah pedal. If you don't know about it check out the Dunlop website, it's in good condition, no scratches etc. Has had the feet removed and velcro added to make it easier to attach to a pedalboard. No packaging. Zoom 607 Multieffects - REDUCED TO £25 - Literally hundreds of presets and loads to play around with. Perfect starter pedal with some really useful, and some really crazy out-there sounds. Ernie Ball Passive Volume Pedal JR - ON HOLD - brilliant volume pedal, with tuner out and movement as smooth as butter. EHX NYC Big Muff Pi - £35 - Scratched and battered, but in full working order. Marshall Supervibe - £20 ONO - Nice shimmery chorus. Diago Gigman pedalboard - £50 ON HOLD - Full details can be found here, it has served me well over the last few years. But I'm going to buy a Pedaltrain Mini, because believe it or not, even this pedalboard, the smallest in the Diago range, is just too big for me! I'm open to offers, and am willing to see money going either way along with a trade. All prices are negotiable, and include shipping, with the exception of the Gigman. PJ

I agree with cheddatom. Multieffects could be much cheaper and give you an idea of what you like/don't like. Then if you want to go down the stompbox route it's a case of buying individual chorus/overdrive/wah etc. after selling the multieffects unit, if you want to. The Line 6 Bass Floor Pod is outstanding, but leans more towards amp modeling than effects patches. That said, here are my personal recomendations for your individual pedals - Wah - Dunlop 105Q - I've been through an Ibanez Weeping Demon, and Morely PBA I and II looking for the perfect bass wah. I love this pedal, it has a little tone suck, but it's not too bad. Sansamp is a good choice, although if you're not too worried about the DI element look into the VT Bass - similar but more 'old school' tones. Tuner - I wouldn't go for the boss, I currently have it and am looking to buy the Korg Pitchback soon instead. It's advantages over the Boss are - smaller, cheaper, more accurate (arguably), true bypass, and cooler looking Envelope Filter - Very much personal choice on that one, but think about if you need both a wah and an envelope filter, some people find the two together slightly redundant. Octaver - The OC3 is a brilliant choice, lots of bassists love this box. I personally prefer the EHX Micro Pog, it tracks flawlessly and does octave up as well as down. And I have had no experience with either a tremelo or an EQ pedal, but if you go for a modelling unit like the Sansamp or the VT Bass remember that they have a basic but fairly powerful EQ in. Hope this helps.

I'm having a clear-out of all the pedals I no longer use...in order to get some money for more! Firstly is an SR-40 AKG Wireless Reciever This little thing clips onto your amp or pedalboard. Never been used. RRP - £70. All you would need to complete it is an AKG guitarbug transmitter GB-40, which cost about £70 new, and you'll have a full, professional wireless system worth about £140. With boc + instructions £40 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boss LS-2 Line Selector Very worn, about 3rd hand but still functions perfectly. Can be used to select between basses, or amps, or blend your clean signal with an effected signal which is perfect for bass-sucking overdrives/distortions. No box £20 SOLD PENDING THE USUAL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah Some slight cosmetic damage but perfect working condition. Really good wah, switch, or switchless design. Great for emulating those Cliff Burton-esque screams. With box. £50 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Morley Pro Series II Bass Wah Awesome wah. Funky but good for rock too, used to be the wah of choice of Rex Brown of Pantera, now discontinued. In my, and many others opinion, better than the current Dual Bass Wah. SOLD PENDING THE USUAL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Line 6 Echo Park Delay Pedal Great digital delay, features include reverse delay, tap tempo, stereo outputs up to about 5 seconds repeat time, phase repeats, mint condition. With box. £60 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All prices ONO, and without P+P. May consider trades, payment by personal cheque.
Both times I saw Electric Eel Shock the drummer wore a sock.... just a sock!
Haha same when they played here in Cheltenham last year sometime ...and +1 to Electric Eels Shock too

I had exactly the same problem. Guy sorted me out very quickly also but a few months after that it developed a rip in one speaker. It's a good sounding amp, but really not worth the repair hassle in my opinion. The mid-prices Ashdowns all seem to suffer from fairly average QC.

Although you've already sprung on the Weeping Demon, I thought I'd give a mini-review of all the wah's I own. Morley PBA (older discontiued blue model, not the Dual Bass Wah) Fairly nice pedal. Sweep was fairly unipressive however. The 'Wah' dial did nothing more than increase the volume of the sweep rather than changing the actual filter, thus making it very much a 'one trick poney' Ibanez Weeping Demon Great wah, but had some annoying features. It was really good at coping the Cliff Burton screams, and was all in all a pretty good rock wah. Not as good at funk though. I usually had mine set on the 'High' settings, but as sk8 said, it is very tweakable and almost both settings could be made useful different situations. Personal downsides for me though is that it could be noisey (for reference I was powering it with the Diago power supply), and also had a vairly large footprint because of the footswitch on the side. Dunlop 105Q Best (reasonably priced) bass wah out there in my opinion. Does it's job and does it with no downsides in my opinion. Running some nice overdrive into it creates a tone unlike any other wah I have used (on guitar or bass). Does not do the distorted Burton screams well, but that's not what I want to use it for. Great for funk and although the physical sweep is smaller than both of the other wahs I have tried, it is more sensative of the others. Also has a smaller footprint than the others.

I played the smaller Tube model today. To me it just sounded like a poor TS rip...but that was to be expected really. Suffice to say if I wasn't becoming such a pedal facist and was looking for a cheap OD I would probably pick one up.

I'm interested in one of these... I'm pretty much only play (traditional) Jazzes, but if this maintains some of the classic elements while obviously sporting a modern edge then I'm 100% interested.
