1.
It is beautiful isn't it lol
Yeah... some one really needs to buy this before I shoot myself ... is there any one that you want taken care of for a certain shiny 6 string fee?
2. Hello everybody, I recently managed to cause a small tear in the speaker cone of my Aguilar DB112. While this may be possible to repair as the tear is between two bits that were previously glued together I am interested in replacing the speaker with one that can take more watts, so far I have looked into Eminence and Fane. Any recommendations or things that I should take into account whilst replacing the speaker? Thanks! Jamie
3. And I was so close to getting the cash for the pair! Oh well. Good luck with the sale - I too would not resist if I was close by.
4. Yay my first bass! Nice value indeed!
5. I like your taste! Sikth and Dream Theatre, Jaco, Weather Report, Thelonius, Opeth, Bill Evans. I thought I was the only wierdo with an affinity for both jazz and prog metal. Good luck selling these (mostly ) excellent albums!
6. Some interest but it looks like this is still to go!
7. I have to confess I did once leave a comment on a Larry Graham video saying something along the lines of 'This is why only black guys can play slap bass'... I stepped back and watched those fireworks with great joy
8. Up for sale or trade (+/- cash) is my beloved Trace Elliot head. Despite the overall versatility of this head (something I'm sure a lot of you will be familiar with) I find myself playing less and less rock music and carrying my gear to more and more practices. So I'm going lightweight, if anyone wants a trade or trade plus cash either way for stuff a long the lines of markbass then drop me a message. It's also worth noting the 'pre-Gibson' factor which supposedly makes this head much better then more recent models (including the Peavey ones) I however have never had the opportunity to compare so this is only by word of reviews and the like. As far as a straight up sale I think a negotiable £350. *This may well be an AH250 as opposed to AH300- on the back it says '280W RMS - 580W PEAK'. Either way I used to drive the hell out of a 4x10 Trace cab and it was seriously loud - I never, ever went through a PA in a years worth of loud rock gigs *There are 2 outputs and both are 8 ohm only Some good reviews: Activebass.com Harmony Central Any questions are very welcome! And for the perverts interested in the rear end...
9. You can see how beautiful that maple under the lacquer is... Given the opportunity I would certainly remove the finish and leave it at that maple. Good luck with the sale!
10. Why are you doing this to me? Damn...
11. I just bought the Jazz Theory Book from Greg at a very reasonable price. Everything was perfect! Thanks very much!
12. I don't really like how these look but I'm sure £350 for this is an utter bargain, considering it must be towards the £1000 end new. Ebay item ID: 280468253801 As it says there that would be a pretty exceptional first six string.
13. Myles held some headphones for me while I sorted out the funds over the course of a week. Excellent communication and manners, no hassle. All topped off by a lovely pair of 'phones for an excellent price! Thanks very much Myles!
14. I recently bought a strap off rick and as well as letting me take it for a bargain price he also held it for me for a week while I got payment sorted! Excellent communication and attitude - Top BCer! Thanks very much Rick

Bloody glad no-one bought it as I've had to send my main combo + extn cab back for failing on me, and the MB150 is dusted down and back in service again for the christmas + new year gigs. Anyway good luck on selling yours.
This has been up here longer then 10 months now I think!

17. For your sake I hope the other goes first! I still have dreams about owning a Fodera. They really are the most ultimate sounding basses. Good luck!
18.
19mm http://www.warmoth.com/Gotoh-201-4-String-...e-P138C718.aspx And a +1 to them too, the channels for the saddle legs help stability and the whole bridge just seems ''firmer''.
Thanks very much evident Sabbath fan!
19. Why the hell would any one sell this!
20. The simple answer is surely that you can also apply chord shapes to bass guitar, as opposed to just normal guitar - hence necessitating the use of one.
21. I'm probably telling many of you what you already know but I know a lot of players play what they sing so that thier improvised solos in particular get rhythms relatable to vocal lines, when you take breath it leaves pauses etc. This makes the solo more relatable to instruments that involve your lungs and keeps some players from playing too many notes and never stopping. Finally it encourages you to play in a more melodic fashion, less step wise movement and the like. The nice part is that it actually works!
