I'm a Conservation Architect.

I wish he would come back to Birmingham Town Hall one of the best concerts I've been to.

I think there hasn't been anymore of a technological shift since Cher's Believe which couldn't of happened earlier.

Change to a black chrome control plate and it will be perfect.

The new little Les Paul Juniors are interesting

Bought a pedal from Stofferson. An absolute pleasure to deal with and would happily buy from again.

I'd be tempted by one of them.

Shall send you a Pm

Damn slightly too late on this one

I'm an Architect so fairly adept at Photoshop based nonsense if you need any help.

Hiya,
I have had my Player series P bass for a month or so and just noticed the first fret hasn't been filed down. I don't really want to spend £10 on a fret file I will never use so what are the best Heath Robinson style approaches to flattening it down?
Thanks

Best? Difficult to choose between my three awesome and very differently flavoured custom basses (ACG Finn 5, Zoot Funkmeister 4, Conway Instruments Taranis fretless)
Worst? The LaBella strings I recently bought from Bass Direct; both sets had a short rather than medium scale E. Crap!
I had the same experience from Bass Direct they didn't really want to know about the problems either.

Idly wondering if my distortion pedal habit isn't a little out of control - especially given the nature of the bands I play for - and realised I'm actively trying to find a Big Muff Deluxe purely because Tony Levin said so. I already have Joyo Sweet Baby, Ammoon American Sound, Caline Overdrive and MXR Bass Fuzz. I recently moved on my Mark Bass Distorsore. Reasonably modest number you say? But then if you add in the available distortion/overdrive and fuzz on my three different Zoom pedals (probably a dozen or so on each plus the amp sims most of which can be driven via increased gain) then it begins to look like Overkill.
I have a EHX double muff, partly because the name makes me smile and partly because the fuzz smacks you over the head.

Dunlop's from Bass Direct are pretty good value, expensive from other sellers.

I've just put Dunlop Flats on my P bass. Very even tone across strings, no dodgy E string. They are quite bright so you need to knock the tone knob down. So far so good.

Same thing Architect dealing in the above. Far more interesting than new builds.
