College graduates (EXCLUDING SCHOOL TEACHERS) How much has theory helped in your playing? What's the 20% of theory that has helped with 80% of your playing???? Asking for myself and other players going into music academia. actually, I want to hear what school teachers have to say I about theory in the context of playing too (BTW Beginner resources here (no theory just where you can start))

UPRIGHT PLAYERS (but not limited to) How do you deal with straining your hands and fatigue while walking for an extended period of time? I usually use turmeric but it hasn't been readily available since I've gotten to university. Any preventative measures you take? Treatment etc.?

How do you guys warm up before practicing? I usually hit two 2 octave scales and then I play a melody I just got good at. Right now the melody its Beautiful Love by Bill Evans (you can get the scales I use here BTW)
