Oh and I ordered a 6 string esp ltd bass from them before, but it showed up and was in pretty bad shape, turned out to be ex demo, even though it wasn't mentioned (although it was cheap), but they took it back and gave a full refund.
I've bought a Peavey 6505 off them before, and a Cort bass, and a Fender Strat, all were okay, but I find it best to call after to confirm when it will ship etc.
Although this comes up all the time, I'll reply and say that a bassist should use all techniques depending on what is called for in each particular song.
I just practiced with my one of these today for the first time, they are actually awesome basses and I would have no issue using this instead of my Sandberg at the gig if I had to.

Assuming that it counts!
I think it does. Just.
I'd say they are the most disturbing basses of all!
I had one, got it cheap, in fact me and a few mates only bought it to stop someone we didn't like from buying it, haha. It was pretty rubbish, but sold it on at the same cost (£100).
Set mine up with lighter strings now, and is playing nice, would be cool to try it at a practice to see what its like, but my band hasn't had one for about a month!
