1.
Peter Cook's is good if your near Hanwell (that's just west of Ealing a bit) the shop is small but they have tons of basses in stock - it just takes them a couple of minutes to fetch them. Google them they have a web site. Cheers
I agree that Peter Cooks are good, very cheap, I've bought quite a few guitars from them.
2. I just used http://www.cdrom-businesscard.co.uk/ but that was for Vinyl style CD's, they are very quick and good to deal with.
3. Will sell for £450 as I ordered a spector earlier (same as what it cost me to get it, was £425 plus £25 shipping), so my price is £450 collected, will ship at cost though, don't want to lose the £25 I paid for shipping as well as the £20 I paid for strings/straplocks, still an awesome price.
4. I got this from the Leicester branch, they don't seem to have reduced them as much!!
At our store we’ve got a Spector Rox 4T hologram Black, which is a bit like a firebird in shape, with a cool greeny/blue hologram style finish over a black base coat, that was £699, and is now £549. We also have a Euro 4 LX in Poplar Burl which sounds and looks fantastic!! That one was £1499 and is now £1199
5. I was charged £15 postage, damn those Scottish people, haha.
6. Glasgow have.... EURO 4 AMBER STAIN LX was £899 down to £499 SPECTORCORE 5 AMBER BURL was £399 down to £179 SPECTORCORE 4 AMBER BURL was £399 down to £179 And they had the one I ordered too, but took that off the list.
7.
I think this post says he is looking for more than £800....but original post should be changed if he now wants £900...
"Looking for £800 which i think is a fair price." Sounds like £800 to me for a sale!
8. Yeah it does, grain on it looks immense too, I need to take some more pictures of it.
9. Cheaper to buy a new soldering iron surely?
10. I was watching that and thinking of bidding, but decided against it, but purely because I shouldn't be spending anything really.
11. I've always wanted a Jerzy Drodz as I think they look awesome. There is a massive difference between my 3 main basses, so I do not see how a cheap chinese bass will sound like any of them, especially the distinct Vigier or Warwick. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what other people do anyway.
12. Yeah, it does cut through very easily, and is very clear too, definitely highlights everything you do.
13. Don't think the Vigier is going anywhere, along with the Sandberg!
14. Had to post in this as mine was awesome at practice tonight, I like it loads, if I had this I wouldn't have got the thumb, so I may move that on.
15. I love Dirk Lance, not a fan of the new one though, he is just average to me.
16. I didn't for a long time, I did however for my last show as it was quite a big festival, not sure if I will to the next.
17. I wish I had £1100, I may have to look at selling my Les Paul.
18. I'd buy his US Jazz if I were you!
19. You should pick up one of the Warwick flightcases, they are really cheap from Thomann and very solid. http://www.thomann.de/gb/warwick_ebass_flightcase.htm
20. I'm not fussed by the condition when buying used basses now, if I own something from new, it pretty much always stays as new, but for example my Vigier has a few dings etc, and I don't mind, my Sandberg is relic'd so is covered in marks!
21. This is sold pending collection/payment tomorrow! I can't pinpoint why I prefer my 2x10 really, but I know I do, I guess I just prefer the sound of 10" speakers.
