We used to turn the lights off at practice and play in the dark, but that is mainly because we're stupid and were bored, did it quite often though surprisingly!

I saw the program, they hardly played at all, seemed tight though. But I don't get why they invested so much having barely heard them!

There are some nice basses in the bass centre sale...... [url="http://www.basscentre.com/categories.asp?cID=74"]http://www.basscentre.com/categories.asp?cID=74[/url] And I must add that I don't play metal either, but the thumb growl sits well in the mix with a hip hop band that goes rocky sometimes. On my $$ I found the 2 pick-ups got in my way a lot, I preferred the normal Corvette I had (although they both had a big chunky neck). The price of second-hand streamers is a joke right now, so take advantage of that!

I would recommend just getting a secondhand Warwick, you could get much better then a new $$ for that cash, I got a Thumb BO for less, and it's a whole new level when compared to the $$ (as said before, I owned one of them too).

I see no reason why there would be a problem fretting the neck on it.

I think a Status is probably the next bass I will pick up.

Yeah, it's good to have another Warwick again! My house mate plays bass too and he bums it, haha, if it was 5 string I think he would have already stolen it.

Oh and does anyone know what the body of that Thumb is made from? It's from '99. Had fun cleaning it last night, reminded me of cleaning my old Dolphin Pro.

I wanna see Nick's other Vigier, I remember trying the blue one briefly in a lesson ages ago, and that was awesome.

I remember when I got a Corvette $$ when they first came out, in Nirvana black, for something like £550 (from Dolphin), sent it back eventually as it had a ding, they were going to replace it, but I changed my mind, crazy how much it has all gone up, but I didn't get my F1 head long about and they are about £200 more everywhere now.

Yeah, folded down the back seats and put it in that way, it is huge, had a Warwick Thumb waiting at my folks too so had to get that in a case in there as well!

So who has one? I do now, and I love the thing! I know Ped/Nick do, but I am sure others must as well, post some pictures everyone!
