1. I'd say that 200-250 is a good price secondhand, they push £400 new.
2.
Its looks sh*t.
I agree with him.
3. I used to have a 4x10 Warwick along with the 2x10 I have now, but the 2x10 just sounded a lot better to me, the 4x10 got muddy sometimes, so I sold that and have just been using the 2x10 for ages now.
4. I had pretty much everything set to around 12 (asin in the middle/top, not the amp goes to 12!), apart from the VLE, which was all the way down, and I cut through fine (via my Warwick WCA 211 Pro).
5. Yeah, I love the thing, it's awesome!
6. Used my F1 tonight at practice, my drummer said "it sounds much better, usually when you buy things, I can't actually notice any difference".
7. Just noticed you are selling this on ebay! It looks very nice.
8.
I'm an incurable Tele man too. Here's mine from http://www.jim-reed-guitars.com/eng/index.php He makes bass guitars too.
I own a Jim Reed LP that I fit with EMG 81/85, have owned about 4 other Jim Reeds too, good for the cash! As for other guitars I have a PRS Custom 24 Anniversary and Gibson Les Paul Standard, and a Washburn acoustic, play a Peavey 6505 though an Orange PPC212.
9. Don't think ead had one yet, so I am starting it, pleasure to deal with, quick payment when selling him a pedal recently, and good comms!
10. That looks awesome! I used to play a Mesa/Boogie Basis M-2000 years ago, I liked it a lot.
11.
Yep. A bargain for a new head worth £1100.
Didn't you buy a bunch of them for cheap to sell on anyway?
12. I think it sounds awesome, I've owned tonnes of amps now and this is my favourite so far, lots of thump and not muddy, nice and tight sounding, the 2 tone controls are very good too, especially the VPF for me.
13. It just arrived, gonna try it in a bit, but with my luck it'll probably be dead or explode.
14.
Yeah, I saw that one! Is that recent cos I thought e-basses stopped production a few years back, or are they still aking the odd bass? Tony
They started up again now, I will find their website link....... 15. My Sandberg that I have now, I love it, 2nd was probably my Warwick Dolphin Pro which I miss still at times.
16. I sold mine too recently and only got £300 for it, and it was like new, market is rubbish at the moment.
17. This is him getting a new custom bass from e-basses here in Peterborough too...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQDk1Y-S84A His playing is pretty crazy.
18. Although not in your list, I went for an EHX White Finger.
19.
If its anywhere around the £500 mark you could get a podxt and a poweramp and have a whole lot more at your disposal!
What £150 power amp is any good then? Pod XT Pro is £350.
20. It should be sent out later for delivery tomorrow, then I can use it Friday for band practice.
21. Not that far away, both midlands-ish! But yeah, it is a nice bass.
22. Decided I will still let this go if anyone wants it.
23. I want a Panther Special one day to go with my Sandberg I have now.
