1. Keep both Fenders.
2. I took my Tokai Jazz along to practice, I got setup there, when to play a bit and noticed the action on the g string (oo-err) was too low to play it atall at the first fret, I do play with a low action normally, but obviously not that low! I hadn't played it since last week (Thursday) and it's been in it's case since then just downstairs in the study, is humidity likely to be the problem and if I give it a quick setup it's unlikely to happen again? Tonight I phoned my house and got someone to drop off my warwick to use instead, that was fine (but has been in its bag for weeks in my room).
3. Indeed! Mac Ebony, Maple and Wenge a plenty!
4. Put the deposit down today, just about got the spec sorted, wanted to start a thread in here so I can progress it all the way through! Will post the proper spec when its 100% done, but basically lots of dark/light woods.
5. I've had, and know a few people who have also had issues with ordering from their website, for example them saying something will be in stock in 2 days, then shipped, then in 2 days it would say 5 more days, then in 5 days it would say 28 days etc.
6. Anyone use their 5 strings like that? And can anyone recommend any strings that come with a high c, nickel plated though! Cheers.
7.
I don't really see the point in a clear scratchplate.
The clues in the name!
8. Might do sometime, I got a few replies from him, then no more! That was ages ago now though, maybe he was offline for months back then or something.
9. I wanted to get a bass from him, but he just never replied, so it put me off.
10. I am hopefully going to get a Skelf Single-cut soon, 5 strings though, and with a head! I didn't know about the Skelf SC model before the other day, had only seen the others, must have missed this!
11. I know there are builders around here like Shuker, RIM, AC etc, but whenever I start writing an e-mail to one I get a little way then have no idea what to tell them as I'm not 100% sure on what I want, apart from a singlecut! What kind of stuff do they want to hear to give a rough price?
12.
Ah man I've always wanted to play one of those! What they like?
I used to have one, it was okay, but to tell the truth kind of a dissappointment, I could just never get it to play like I wanted, however I had an ESP Viper Standard Camo too, and that was amazing! Almost played itself.
13. Sounds like it could be cool, but you definately need a more pro looking logo/website!
14. LTD are decent enough, but not amazing, however ESP are fantastic, both guitars and basses.
15. It was just under £300 from coda, to tell the truth it sounded awesome without the Dimarzios, thinking that maybe I shouldn't have changed them, might change it back and sell them!
16. Got a package from Thomann today which contained a nice new SKB shaped case, Dimarzio Jazz pickups, Bridge cover, Pickup cover and thumbrest (and Warwick straplocks, forgot about them)......... Before......
17. Although off topic, I just noticed you are in Groove Cartel, I sold your guitarist an Ibanez a few years back, and your drummer teaches at the school where I work (although I must point out I don't actually know them!)
