  1. Paul is great - he bought my Squier CV and he said what he said he’d do - prompt payment and amazing communications for a handout halfway. Would love to deal with him again, enjoy the bass and nice meeting you Paul!
  2. £1600 to sort/hold today or tomorrow before it goes elsewhere. Banging, banging deal - and you know it.
  3. £8 each set, £20 the three of them. these come from basses I received and changed to my usual NYXL/Chromes so pretty much as new * fender cut Ernie Ball slinky’s, 45-100/105? * Stingray cut Ernie Ball 45-130 * pretty much uncut/new? Non curled even- DR nickel low rider 45-125 (hey I could say they’re even new?) postage on top should be a couple quid. Ander.
  4. Coming from my 2010 Fender Standard MIM below. They sound great and work in perfect order, but I just went for an EMG solderless kit for extra output so these are being taken out tomorrow - pots roll especially quick and zero rattle:
  5. haha thank you @krispn!! I'm happy to hear offers, otherwise it'd have to go soon to the Bass Gallery or similar - plus you and I are pretty close aren't we @Osiris
  6. OFF1 on hold til Friday…!
  7. Chorus gone. Shoot me an offer on the OFF1 before it goes on sale elsewhere for more? Thinking a juicy £185 if sorted this week.
  8. £110 plus postage before it goes elsewhere for more…!
  9. Thanks gents! Ready to go and squeeze the 400w out of that tube hybrid head indeed…! 3x 12AT7 in the preamp of the R400 if I’m correct
  10. Trades of interest: * Clean amp in the 7-800w realm - Mesa / Eich / Bergantino / GK potentially... 400 Watts + on 8ohm * Barefaced Big Baby 2 - metal grill preferred, w/ cover. Potentially other 1x12 in that quality range/price? Mesa? Barefaced preferred - Super Compact (T) / Super Mini (T). * Fender JMJ Blue only
  11. Listing these two as I'm looking for a 'yet smaller thing'. Sound is stunning but still too big for my mate's Ford Fiesta with the whole band in, so looking at a Class D rig with a 1x12 cab of quality Trades of interest: * clean amp in the 7-800w realm - Mesa / Eich / Bergantino / GK potentially... 400 Watts + on 8ohm * Barefaced Big Baby 2 - metal grill preferred, w/ cover. Potentially other 1x12 in that quality range/price? Mesa? Barefaced preferred - Super Compact (T) / Super Mini (T). * Fender JMJ Blue only Will consider splitting: Handbox R400 £450 Barefaced Two10 £400
  12. Another one I'm not sure how to price but seems fair. Cream white as per picture, 2010, no damage other than light use: w/b/w
  13. No idea how to price this so shoot your shot but think it's appropriate? No screws - from a 2010 Precision bass:

@EmmettC I managed to get very cranked up distortion with the B side gain at 3 o’clock and A>B, level aroun 11ish if I recall well…! I used to have A as clean then B for full whack distortion that way. I know that feeling of bass distortion eating up bottom and substance, I hate it - I do like using the Motorcycle now as distortion (this is a more bassy Hudson Broadcast limited edition with EQ controls). I know have side A as clean, side B to point of breakup and the Motorcycle for full distortion. one pedal I do find interesting is the new Ground and Pound from Lusithand Devices, on sale at Joe’s pedals. Modelled after Justin Chancellor’s tones with a 2:1 compression built in, 9-18v and EQ controls borrowed from the Alma compressor… I do want it but I’m saving money and the Hudson Motorcycle does all I want for punk rock. current board…:
  15. Mick just responded to my wanted add for a fender hi mass bridge. super efficient and quick, would most definitely deal with Mick again - thank you!!!
  16. Sorted for basses so no more P/X...! Cash only - happy to hear offers gang! Ander.
  17. Hey @foya thanks, that does make sense and is super useful!
  18. I guess the differences between both in terms of character… what was the coda modelled after or what can it compare to etc… … I will ask the guys too if I’m in the market but really shouldn’t be this year as I’m right in the middle of downsizing and really don’t need more than the R400 + BF Two10 - I’m trading sight unseen but trying it out with the band right after. still Capo and Motorcycle going in front of the amp anyway. Ander.
  19. So I’ve seen something I like, I can do £1700 which is what it cost me before I did a setup and crowning etc etc. Officially at loss so shoot away…! Ander.
  20. Fanboy you say? I’m waiting patiently for this Friday to be impressed - it’s even in my signature already lol
  21. thanks a lot mate, this is great info. I now wonder about the Coda, did you have a chance to try that one out or enquire with the good guys at JF? not sure if this is deemed as off topic by now but I’m just curious - promise I’m not testing your knowledge mate haha! thanks Ander.
  22. I can see you wouldn’t be wrong as my experience with the Capo has been superb - it’s now the core of my sound. I was gonna say, what’s the character of the amp like? Is it in any way based on the capo preamp or it’s own thing? Do you have the matching cab? I’ll do some research. Ander.
