I did the superglue trick last week and it worked a treat! yes use the high viscosity stuff and it only takes a couple of drops.

They are both really great looking instruments and both finishes are very tasteful. I am really enjoying the way they play, they are light but sturdy and the range of sounds that they can make is so good. I am amazed by the quality of yamaha instruments, even their budget options.

My BB604 & BB605 and I have a BB435 away in its case. I think I may well and truly have the Yamaha bug....

Looks awesome. I love the way my BB605 plays so much that I have just ordered to BB604 to go with it. Keep us posted on how the modifications go.

Hi All, I have a Yamaha BB435 and two of the tuning pegs are making a horrible rattling noise at certain frequencies. I have done some searches and it looks like it is a common fault with these lightweight tuners. I have been looking at what I could use to replace them and have seen that people have used the Schaller BML machine heads (they look the same dimensions except the length of the peg is shorter). I was wondering if anyone had used these tuners on any of the new BB series basses and even better if anyone had any photos to share. Thanks! 😊
