oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh
I love you (it) -
I do not mind a pink bass, infact there was something pink and expensive on here not so long ago that was super, super nice
-
That is a great colour
-
I left my old ones on, reasoning that it wasn't worth changing and taking the risk. Glad I did, the recordings sounded really good (to my ears), The engineer did a great job, basically using a Joe Meek compressor, my EBS preamp, straight D.I. and an Ashdown mic'd and cranked in various combinations, when I have the finished artcile, which'll be a while I'll post on here.

Couldn't find one of these threads already - show your home studio efforts

Well yeah I like it but is it the best I can do?
-
Hi guys,
Right I'm "in the studio" next week, and am debating putting new strings on my bass. I use flatwounds, I play erm indie folk I guess and what a nice smooth warm sound, so im thinking i stick. I've had these on now for about 7 months. -

It's possible to have more than you need, but if it makes you happy and you can afford it, why not have more?
-
Another one? you don't see any at all anywhere, then a couple come up at once, weird.
Anyway, super amp and all that -
If Darth Vader played bass, he'd play that
-
I have one, very quick very well built, after customs was too much money, can't turn on without muting which is a shame because I got it to help with fretless pitching, have you use my tuner out function. Can't power other pedals like the korg can.
It's pretty cool though I'm glad I got it -
Two last questions: are you running 4ohm+4ohm
And, does the sound change significantly with the additonal cab? -
Where did you get the ext cab!! I've been looking for one for ages
-
You have very fine taste!
-
Just to say i bought my G&L from al embic and he is a pleasure to deal with.
-
At least it was someone on here - well done
-
Gah someone bought it as I logged on to confirm the bid!

Here's a blue one from me last gig

I just got one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPU8ckQ_D6M
Mostly because I was attracted to the shiny lights, used it for one guitar gig so far, it's very well built and very quick. Though got stung for vat and handling charge, so not very cheap from America. -
I think thats very cool, it's like an old pre industrial revolution weavers house in Lancashire, but with bases.
It's great.. I love it. The TF neck is a quite wide, and shallow front-to-back, and it's very easy to play. Even with ancient flats it sings and sustains for weeks.
In fact, I'm tearing myself up over whether to keep it and sell my '71 or get a Fanklin-like neck for my '71 and sell the TF on.
I've got The Bass Doc's lovely ebony neck on my '71 at the minute and I used each bass for half a set last weekend. They both sounded and played marvellous.
GAH!
Give me a shout when you've decided? -
What do you think of that Tony Franklin? Hows it play?
-
That is hugely good, really, really good
